This is one of those cases where I’d like to have more information from the case file, but that’s not going to happen.
I don’t believe that Tim Masters was responsible for the death of Peggy Hettrick but he was a disturbed individual who needed to be looked at seriously as a suspect.
Dr. Richard Hammond who lived just as close to the crime scene as Tim did was an equally disturbed individual and a pervert of epic proportions. He had the physical strength, intelligence and the medical expertise to commit the crime, (especially the surgical procedures performed on Peggy) and I would consider him to be a far more viable suspect than Tim.
Then we have Peggy’s on again, off again boyfriend, Matt Zoellner, who despite claiming he had not been with her for 8 days had his DNA discovered on the inside of her panty waistband and on the cuffs of her blouse. He did, however, say he had spoken to her at a bar earlier on the night of her death.
Yes, Zoellner did have an alibi by the name of Dawn Gilbreath who has not recanted her story, and he passed a lie detector test but you would think that a new, lengthy police interview seeking answers to the DNA findings would be the order of the day. No DNA from either Tim Masters or Dr. Hammond was found on Peggy’s clothing, although, obviously, the perpetrator could have been wearing gloves.
The Eikelenbooms used VERY aggressive LCN DNA techniques to process the DNA and I’m pretty certain an argument could be made by a defense attorney for the results coming from contamination rather than criminal conduct. For example, the Eiklenbooms also claimed to have found DNA from MULTIPLE unidentified men as well as a partial profile implicating Zoellner on the armpit areas of Peggy's jacket.
That's a good synopsis of that case, cynic.

This interview had been removed for a number of years, but it’s back.
It’s the final interview involving Patsy Ramsey which was conducted about two months prior to her death. In April, 2006, John and Patsy were interviewed by Pastor Wayne Cordeiro on “Connecting Point Live” in Hawaii.
There was a good thread here that discussed what the Ramseys said during the course of the interview - http://www.forumsforjustice.org/foru...ead.php?t=7081

Total time – approximately 45 minutes.

Good find, cynic! Guess the church wants to get some publicity off of John's new book.

I notice that Ramsey's description of the events around JonBenet's murder are in the present tense. That was true of DOI as well. In statement analysis, relating past events in present tense is considered indicative of invention rather than recollection.

But he should have his story down pat by now. Maybe putting the events in present tense was a stylistic decision. To my ear it sounds very phony.

I don't believe John did any more than have a few interviews, if that, with the actual "writer" of his book. I doubt he even read the final product, truth be told. Clearly he couldn't care less about spiritual growth when he's still doing his worst to hurt the Whites, especially when I believe he knows EXACTLY what happened to JonBenet and who caused it all.

Remember when DOI came out and Patsy said STRAIGHT UP they wrote every word in the book, from her "journals" she kept? Later it came out there was a ghost writer who was named, a minister. He was interviewed about it. He said he used tapes of interviews with the Ramseys to write the book.

The one thing that I can always count on with the Ramseys: they lie at the drop of a hat.

The word "phony" defines the Ramseys, so we're on the same page there.

    http://www.nvannualreport.com/entiti...ETING-LLC.aspx

As you can see at the link below, they now sell promotional materials, the kinds of personalized items companies can purchase to give out, like customized pencils with the company name on it.

    http://www.yellowkat.com/

It is the kind of business that has next to no overhead, since all John and Jan do is get in a bunch of catalogs from promo item manufacturers, and order from the catalogs if by some chance a customer happens to call with a request for five thousand Fenster Gap Inc. novelty t-shirts.
Well, it looks like John and Jan (Rousseaux) Ramsey need to update their business info as provided to http://www.nvannualreport.com/entiti...ETING-LLC.aspx because the information is no longer valid. They list their company address (which is also their home address) as:

2020 Summer Spruce Place, Suite 101
    Las Vegas, NV 89134

(The "Suite 101" is a ruse to make it seem like they have a real business suite and aren't operating out of their home.)

According to Zillow.com, a website listing rentals and houses for sale, John and Jan's address of 2020 Summer Spruce Place in Las Vegas, NV is currently listed for rent (and has been for the past month)! You can see various photos of the $236,000 home at the following link. The pics show the house empty of furniture and says it's available for rent immediately.

What's this? The YellowKat website also looks like it needs updating from John and Jan. It still lists 2020 Summer Spruce Place in Las Vegas, NV as the business address! Wonder if the phone number still works?

    http://www.yellowkat.com/

With John being a computer/IT consultant, you'd think he'd put a little more effort into the website. There's not much to it.

Have John and Jan left Las Vegas for Charlevoix? What about Jan's career as a costume designer?

Actually, I feel sorry for Jan and wonder if she knew what she was getting into when she married John Ramsey.

That's a depressingly generic duplex, I think. It has about as much character as...oh...JOHN HIMSELF. lol No wonder the "New and Improved" Patsy-clone went for him. (lol Rat, did I mention we have MISSED you?!) Still, if she's not writing ransom notes in her spare time, she's got to be an improvement.

Real Estate depreciation is probably worse in Las Vegas than most places in America right now--for obvious reasons.

Thanks, Rat! I dedicate it to you in honor of your return to the GUTTAH with all us beer can collectors, as John so lovingly called us! Why, he'd be surprised we can even read much less research! The joke's on him. We know much more than we're even putting in print. We're happy to follow John around from golf course to golf course and from his plane to his boat, while he spends the rest of his life (as promised) hunting for the "intruder."

Yes, it's just another service we provide here at FFJ!

Oh hey Ratty, it is good to see you once again posting.

And Cherokee interestingly enough that real estate ad for the 2020 Summer Spruce Place was updated just yesterday. So maybe it just happened. That John sure like to move around a lot.

Hi there, Zoo! If you scroll down a bit from the top of the ad, on the left hand side there is a column for the number of days on Zillow, and it says "28" - so it's been listed for almost a month. They may have updated some details on the listing yesterday, but the ad has been there longer.

Yes, that John moves around a lot, always looking for a way out from under that umbrella!
