    Maybe.

    Maybe not.

I always thought of cynic being a handsome young man KK - didn't you? I am not kidding! I'll bet you he is!

Sorry I haven't been here like the old days!

My husband has improved these last few months since his hip replacement but being old Seniors is the pits!

    Good to see you, Elle.
If ever I need cheering up I'll be sure to revisit this post.
Good to hear that things are better with your husband, and hopefully that means you can "visit" more often.

I thought this would be a good thread in which to post a link to Patsy Ramsey’s Book Tour Diary.

A signed copy of DOI by Patsy with, "Yours truly, a small foreign faction" would be priceless.

Was wondering if anyone is still around here. I kind of took a step back from WS. I had so many people on my blocked list it was getting hard to follow!

Alex Hunter’s diary has a few gems as well…

I'm not supposed to tell even you, dear diary, what goes on in the grand jury proceedings, but today's session went rather well. I started out by responding to the old canard about how a clever prosecutor can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich. Okay, I said, but what if that ham sandwich had lawyers like Haddon and Foreman?
    [SNIP]
When I was through, some joker tried to get me to sign a true bill charging John and Patsy Ramsey with murder and conspiracy and charging me with criminally negligent ineptitude. I refused, of course. I explained my own right against self-incrimination -- and there is no statute dealing with "ineptitude," anyway.
