    Thumbs up thanks JR

Thanks for adding this JR. Sabrina's father and I exchanged e-mails and he is having a hard time getting any press on it. I gave him the Laura Recovery Center URL and he is submitting her flyer to them.

Default Missing Austin girl found in Mexico

    06/14/2003

    KVUE.com

Sabrina Allen, a 6-year-old girl who became the subject of an international search after investigators say she was abducted by her non-custodial mother, has been found in Mexico, authorities said.

The status of the girl and the girl's mother was unclear Friday night.

    FBI
Dara Marie Llorens is in custody of Mexican immigration authorities.

Details of the recovery are sketchy, but an FBI spokesman said that the girl's mother, Dara Mora Llorens, had been located.

Both Sabrina Allen and her mother are U.S. citizens and can be deported back to the United States. Typically, deportation proceedings take much less time than those leading to extradition.
    ...snip

Among those helping Greg Allen in the search was Robert Cooke.

Cooke's daughter, Rachel, disappeared Jan. 10, 2002 while jogging in her parent's Georgetown neighborhood.

He and Greg met to share notes on their respective searches and became friends.

"This is such wonderful news, and it really demonstrates a father's love for his child," Robert Cooke said. "Happy Father's Day, Greg!"

Default Father waits for word on daughter

    06/16/2003

    KVUE News

The father of a missing 6-year-old Sabrina Allen is still waiting word of her recovery.

Last week the FBI said the Austin girl had been rescued from her non-custodial mother, but we
now know Sabrina is still with her mother in Mexico.

Triumphant Love Lutheran Church on Great Hills Trail was planning a welcome home celebration
for Sabrina, but that has been put on hold.

The church helped send Sabrina's father, Greg Allen, to Mexico City to look for his only child.

    He's now back in Texas.

Default Father, missing daughter still not reunited

    06/17/2003

    By Kris Gutierrez
    KVUE News

The father of a missing 6-year-old girl has some harsh words for the FBI.
    ...snip

For the last 15 months, Sabrina's father, Greg Allen, has led an exhaustive search for the little girl.

One week ago authorities got a tip from a teacher in Mexico that led them to Sabrina.
    ...snip

"The Mexican authorities tried to take them into custody and failed, and then they lifted surveillance and left, and now they're gone," says Allen. "I knew if she got a moment, that she would be gone, and that's exactly what happened."

Allen says he was told the FBI cannot arrest people in Mexico and cannot conduct surveillance in Mexico because it is a foreign country.

    http://www.kvue.com/breaking/061703k...h.10055f7.html
"The bottom line is, I'm out of luck, and we've got to start over," adds Allen.

    Unhappy Oh no

Absolutely heartbreaking! The Mexican authorities should be ashamed of themselves.

    By: News 8 Austin Staff

Authorities asked the mother to turn herself in by Monday, but by Tuesday, the FBI announced she fled once again with Sabrina.

He appreciates all the prayers and concerns from the community, he said.
