    RAMSEY EVIDENCE IS EXPLAINED

Investigators have answered two vexing questions in the JonBenet Ramsey case that have long helped support the theory that an intruder killed her, according to sources close to the case.
The answers, which have been known to investigators for some time but never publicly revealed, could be seen to weaken the intruder theory.
    The two clues are:
    * A mysterious Hi-Tec boot print in the mold on the floor of the Ramseys' wine cellar near JonBenet's body has been linked by investigators to Burke, her brother, who was 9 at the time. It is believed to have been left there under circumstances unrelated to JonBenet's murder.
Burke, now 15, has repeatedly been cleared by authorities of any suspicion in the 1996 Christmas night slaying, and that has not changed.
    * A palm print on the door leading to that same wine cellar, long unidentified, is that of Melinda Ramsey, JonBenet's adult half-sister. She was in Georgia at the time of the murder.
``They were certainly some things that had to be answered, one way or the other, and we feel satisfied that they are both answered,'' said a source close to the case, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
    L. Lin Wood, the attorney representing the Ramseys, who now live in Atlanta, doesn't debate the palm print findings. But he contends the police have not answered the Hi-Tec print mystery.
``Burke Ramsey does not and has never owned a pair of quote, unquote, trademarked Hi-Tec sneakers that the Ramseys are aware of,'' Wood said. ``I would think they know what shoes he has owned.''
Wood said the two most important pieces of forensic evidence in the case are unidentified male DNA found in the girl's underwear and the bizarre 2 1/2-page ransom note, whose author has never been determined.
``I represent innocent clients,'' Wood said. ``There has been a history since December of 1996 of anonymous law enforcement officials in Boulder, Colorado, leaking information to the media, which, in most cases, turns out to be either false or grossly distorted.
``So I would put no weight, whatsoever, on anonymous information coming out of the Boulder Police Department. Zero.''
But the source said that connecting the palm print to Melinda Ramsey was something that occurred belatedly, only because the first time her print sample was compared with the questioned print, the person making the comparison didn't properly see the match.
As for the footprint in the wine cellar, the source said, ``We know Burke had a pair of Hi-Tec shoes.''
JonBenet, a 6-year-old star of child beauty pageants and the youngest of John and Patsy Ramsey's two children, was found murdered in the basement of her family's Boulder home Dec. 26, 1996, about seven hours after her mother reported finding a ransom note demanding $118,000 for her safe return.
Boulder Police Chief Mark Beckner refused Thursday to discuss any single piece of evidence in the beating and strangling death of JonBenet.
But he said in the 5 1/2 years since the murder, police have continued to seek solutions to ``a number of evidentiary items'' that represented questions in need of answers.
``We have been able to answer questions about many of the pieces of evidence, and we hope that, over time, as we continue to go over them piece by piece, that we will be able to solve the puzzle,'' Beckner said.
In their book about their daughter's murder, The Death of Innocence, the Ramseys list seven pieces of evidence they consider significant to the case - the palm print and the Hi-Tec print are numbers six and seven. In that book, John Ramsey wrote, ``Next to JonBenet's body, the killer, I believe, left a clear footprint made by the sole of a Hi-Tec hiking shoe, from the area at the heel where the brand name was stamped.''
Writing about the palm print, John Ramsey concedes it might prove to belong to someone with a benign reason for being in the basement. ``At the same time,'' he adds, ``it could be an important clue.''
Meanwhile, Wood said that Patsy Ramsey is making progress in her treatment for a recurrence of cancer, diagnosed Feb. 12.
``She completed her six-month course of chemotherapy in June, and obviously is still recovering from the side effects of that treatment,'' Wood said.
``But all in all, she's doing well. I just saw her today. She looks good. She looks very strong and optimistic, and so far, everything looks good on the follow-up exams.''

No Footprint, No Handprint = No Intruder

    Good.

Now that the one-handed/one-legged intruder theory has been put to rest, we can begin looking at the possible participation of flying monkeys in this case.

I hope that John and Patsy hang in there...it looks like there will be justice for JonBenet, yet.

We're really narrowing the field of contenders for prosecution in this case down to a precious few.

    Justice deferred...but not justice denied.

And, in that context, I have just three words for John and Patsy Ramsey:

    1. Moxley
    2. Skakel
    3. Guilty

    Why is Limpwood

a civil attorney, acting as the Ramseys' spokesperson in a criminal murder case? Every time he opens his lying mouth, he just buries himself and his clients deeper.

It is the height of arrogance for Wood to make the idiotic statements he makes about the Ramseys' innocence. He doesn't know squat about what went on in that unholy house that night - he has only the word of two of the biggest liars on earth, and after they have finished lying to him, he takes their lies and expands upon them. What does he take us all for - stupid fools like his girlfriend at the swamp? He needs to shut his foolish mouth - he's looking dumber all the time.

None of the so-called evidence the Ramseys, their ace defective, their criminal or civil lawyers have spouted as proof of an intruder can be dated to the night of the crime, and they know it.

And, just how does Limpwood know that Burke never owned High Tecs? Did he live with the Ramseys? I surely wouldn't have been able to recall every pair of shoes or boots my children ever owned, but even so, the boot print is just another example of clutter - something that can't be dated to the night of the murder.

The whirling dervish at the swamp is already in melt-down mode from the Westerfield verdict; this information really will send her over the edge, LOL, as she goes into a tailspin and writes post after post of garbage as only she can.

The Ramseys' intruder theory is a house of cards built on sand. Their house of cards is beginning to crumble. The Ramseys have lost their mansion and their wealth (so they say). John is unemployable (so he says), and their reputations are in the toilet. The only support they have are the skank at the swamp and their paid mouthpiece Limpwood. Even Lou Smit has gone into hiding since his failed attempt to sway people with his television appearances last summer. The evidence they hold as proof of an intruder is being dismantled, slowly but surely. Soon, there will be nothing but the truth that there was no intruder in that home that night.

There may never be a trial or a conviction in this case, on this earth, but punishment for the killer and accomplice began when JB took her last breath, and it will not end until they breathe their last breath on this earth. Then they have to face their Maker.

Who killed JBR? It's becoming more and more obvious with every card that falls.

Thanks, Angel, for finding this lovely piece of information for us.

    well bless my soul -

It certainly makes sense for the boot print to be Burke's because I recall that the print was said to be small.

The Rams say Burke didn't own Hi-Tec sneakers but did he own Hi-tec boots?

These people have already forgotten more things than I'll ever know in my lifetime so surely they wouldn't remember what footware Burke had.

What a good day it is today! We have had that boot print and palm print shoved down our collective throats for so long that it feels real good to read this info.

    The Ramseys have

disrespected their little girl's memory, no matter how one looks at it. What selfless parent thinks only of him/herself when their child is murdered? That is exactly what the Ramseys have done since the beginning.

How sad that they have dishonored their own flesh and blood by their actions. How they can even look at themselves in the mirror is more than I'll ever be able to understand. Wasn't JB precious to them? Doesn't it make sense that parents would wish to honor their child's memory? None of it has been about JB with them - it's only been about themselves.

Well, well, well. ..Thanks for this Angel, and this is getting out all over the forums. Right now, my head hurts from it all.

WY, good point about Limpy. He's a civil attorney and you're right, he has no clue about what happened that night.

Well, I will say that I still believe a male Ram did this and the other Rams covered up (or maybe I should say are in on the coverup). It goes around in a circle for me. Keeps coming back over & over. I know it's not a popular theory, but it's been mine from the beginning. Wasn't this boot print found in the room JB was found, near her body? It could be innocent but then again, maybe not. As far as I'm concerned, no one that was in the house that night can be ruled out as suspects. IMO, the puzzle pieces are starting to fit. Not completely, just yet.

I just wonder why this is all coming out now. This supposedly is news not released before to the public. I am sure there is a ton of it that we don't know about. Wonder why now.

Also, remember Fleet White being quoted as telling someone (BPD?) that would they surprised if he told them that the Rams owned High Tec shoes? Anyone else remember that quote?

Kind of makes you wonder why Lou Smit keeps pointing to both prints as evidence of an intruder. I have a theory he might be lying or senile.

Thor--I remember FW saying that too! but you know honestly the Ramseys had dozens of people in that basement during that Christmas tour so I'm surprized they only found one unidentified foot-print. Could you imagine trying to identify every print in your home?

Well BobC, maybe that was one thing Lizard Tongue was busy doing down there when Arndt lost him. I must say, he did such a good job with his house, maybe I'll give him a part time job as a maid for Thor's house. That'll help his finances a little. I wonder if his secret is that tongue of his. I'll bet that's how he managed to remove all those prints. Of course with 3 dogs (2 big-time German shepherd shedding dogs) and 3 cats, he'd have to walk around with a bucket around his neck for puking after one trip around our living room alone. Talk about hairballs. He missed his calling, didn't he?

And Loose Mitts. Tsk tsk, Loose. As I recall, yes, he was busy last year wiggling his fanny thru that window, and presenting his intruder evidence and these two pieces of evidence were there. I do remembe the BPD saying that since Smit left, a lot of new stuff had come out so they obviously didn't share these two tidbits with Smitten.

    Don't ya just love

    good news?

But why leak this out now? I hope it means something's up...

Anybody have the picture of the HiTecs? It would be interesting to look at now and try to get a size approxamation, I don't remember anything ever being said about the size of the boot. Or is it just my faulty memory?

And the palm print... Melinda. Well, just like everybody's house, everybody in the house had been everywhere in the house. Moving suitcases, perhaps? Kicking around a few packing peanuts?

    Now that's hard evidence.

Here now....a moment of silence for the swamp, there, that's enough.

    What great reporting, Angel. Thanks!

I'm glad to see y'all are becoming more giving to the Rams. Thor has offered to be JR's maid, Tricia's gonna buy CAP two happy meals.....gotta take some stress off of them so they can focus on the conference they are gonna go to.

    Thor..

I also remember Fleet White saying that. I can't remember which book it was in though. Maybe ST's?

BobC, You crack me up! Jameson is probably on the phone trying to get her valium and anti-depressants doubled! Maybe even tripled! Plus, she has probably downed a couple bottles of whiskey to calm her nerves!

Dr. Lee said this wasn't a DNA case. I wonder what other pieces of info the PD have and are not sharing.

Angel, you are so right about Limpwood's career. It is in the toilet. Next he will be chasing ambulances! Thank you for the scoop!

This has been a great week!

Remember: the logo is placed high on the shoe arch, and is the same size on all of this era's Hi-Tec boots, regardless of the shoe size.
