    Default 4 Missing Minnesotans

Erika Dalquist, Chris Jenkins, Michael Noll and Josh Guimond

    Dateline: November 19, 2002
    Updated: November 21, 2002

Are the disappearances of four -- or possibly five -- young adults somehow linked?

Last year, sometime after 4am on November 1, shortly after coming home from a Halloween party, Penn State (Pennsylvania) student Hyunjung "Cindy" Song (a native of Korea) left her apartment, still in her costume, and was never seen again. Friends, family and police are now wondering whether Cindy's disappearance is related to this year's Halloween-week disappearances of four young Minnesotans:

Family and friends are seeking a link between the cases -- but on November 20, citing "glaring differences", investigators in Pennsylvania pretty much ruled out any connection between Cindy Song's disappearance and the other four cases (more information); and police in Minnesota and Wisconsin are downplaying the probability of any connection between Dalquist, Jenkins, Noll and Guimond.

Last known to have left her apartment at 349 W. Clinton Ave. (State College Park Apartments), wearing a Halloween costume consisting of a pink sleeveless shirt with a picture of a bunny on the front, short white skirt, brown leather knee high boots and a red hooded jacket. She might have been wearing "bunny ears"; phone Ferguson Township Police at (814) 237-1172 or (800) 479-0050

    Default JR--Interesting

I don't think Cindy's disappearance is connected to these recent ones. I believe she was a victim of Marc Evonitz.....she was his preferred type...height, weight, hair, etc. And his prowling range was from the northeast to the southeast.

BTW, did you read they are closing in on the Baton Rouge serial killer? New info about the truck has come in from more eyewitnesses. The PD is taking DNA saliva samples from some likely suspects. One person who lives near the area of the killings refuses to give a sample. Hope they nail him soon.

As for the 4 midwesterners...the one very drunk young man probably fell down an incline into the river. Too bad the elderly lady didn't call the cops to escort him home.

The young woman is probably the victim of an SK. There are at least 50 SK's traversing the USA at any given time.

The other two young men...carjacked and killed? Like those young people in Wichita? There's just too much violence in the world, and young people who drink themselves senseless are easy prey.

Glad to hear they are closing in on the BR serial killer. There are other ways to obtain a DNA sample though I don't recommend the chosen methods of a certain person we all know.

The important thing is a clear chain of custody of the sample. Let's hope they get this creep really soon.

I got a call from a friend of the Jenkins family. They are having problems with law enforcement. Getting a search going has also been difficult.

    Unhappy RC

It is so hard to continually hear how little help local law enforcement is able to give to families who have missing loved ones. It's time to work on legislation and grants to make sure every family has someone like Texas Equusearch available to help them.

    Default Michael Noll

On November 6, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire student Michael Noll left his own 22nd birthday party at an Eau Claire bar and wandered into the home of an elderly woman about 6 blocks away. He was drunk and seemed disoriented, and the woman persuaded him to leave (he left his cap behind, positively identifying him). He hasn't been seen since.
