Post Missing woman from Camden, AR

Ruiz Stone, who works at the Coca Cola bottling plant in Camden, AR is missing. She left work Monday night at around 5:30 p.m. CST and that was the last time she has been seen.

She is 47-years-old. She is about 5 foot 4 inches tall with blue eyes and blonde hair.

Also missing is a white Aerostar van with the Coca Cola company markings on each side of the vehicle. There are id markings painted on the front and the back of the van. These are: 97N343116. The van's license plate is an Arkansas tag and the number is 563ARN. There is a bumper sticker on the back of the van that says, "I love my cat."

If anyone has any information please call the Ouachita County Sheriff's Department at 870-837-2200. Outside the calling area, please call collect.

The above is just my opinion, right or wrong, but please leave it at FFJ.

    Post Sadly.....

She was found dead on Tuesday, July 1st. She had actually been missing since June 23, 2003, but the police didn't report her missing until Monday, June 30th. I have no idea why the police waited that long. The van was discovered on June 30th. Four men were given polygraphs on July 1st. They didn't release the results of the polygraphs, only to say one man confessed to killing the woman and is in police custody. There are more arrests expected.

I do not understand why the police waited so long to inform the public that this woman was missing. Those days were days that she possibly could have been alive and saved. I know with adults the laws are different, but I still think there needs to be some protection for adults as well, JMO.

The above is just my opinion, right or wrong, but please leave it at FFJ.

Tez, thanks or the update. This is too sad and so typical when an adult goes missing. We do need the word out quicker but I am afraid that message is not being heard when it comes to adults.
