    Since she has sent it to the Camera and posted it on her forum, I feel it's only right that the forum her letter discusses gets equal time.

    When Amy Hebert called me and asked about my decision to leave the Ramsey discussion, I advised her that I was not interested in discussing the decision with her, that I didn't think it was worth a story - and I still feel that way. Had to be a real slow news week to chase THAT story. She assured me that the story was going to be written so I told her a few things.
    1 - the decision was personal and the reasons would not be shared. Obviously something (or things) did prompt my decision, but that has nothing to do with the Ramsey investigation. The reasons, made public, can't get justice for JonBenét, and I see no reason to share that information with the world.

    2 - I felt that everything I had done was reasonable, honorable and morally right. I have NO regrets over MY actions. If I failed at times, it wasn't for lack of trying. I was devoted to my efforts and regret nothing.

    3 - I felt that the things I wanted to see accomplished HAD been accomplished.
    a. The lynch mob has been quelled (except for a few who I think must be mentally ill to be still standing there wanting to crucify the Ramseys after seeing Lou Smit's evidence and reading the statements by Federal Judge Carnes and DA Keenan).
    and
    b. The investigation is now in the hands of a special investigator and team who I believe is dedicated, honest and capable of solving this.

    4 - Amy misquoted me when she wrote, "'I have full faith that they will solve it, so there's really nothing else for us to do,' Bennett said..." What I said was that there is "nothing to do now but WAIT." I feel my words were twisted.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I let Lin Wood know about the call from Amy and he told me he thought he would simply make no comment. I urged him to speak to her - - partly because the letter he wrote condemning me when I made a decision he disapproved of is still on the net and there was nothing out there really showing that we had come to an understanding on that - - agreed to disagree nicely on the decision I made to share the tapes with AMI. (Lin understands now that I did NOT "betray" the Ramseys - I wanted to replace a book of hateful tabloid stories with one of truth. He still doesn't agree with the decision, but he understands it and we buried that hatchet long ago. I doubt he would use the word "betray" now, it isn't appropriate. He didn't agree with the decision, he knows it wasn't a betrayal.)
    So he spoke to her. And she wrote about that interview...
    "...she betrayed their trust last year by selling transcripts of a police interview with them to the National Enquirer for $40,000, said Lin Wood........... He said the National Enquirer sale was the only time he had ever taken issue with her."
    Interesting enough, there are no direct quotes - - but you will see some direct quotes from Lin in a minute - - - direct quotes from an email he sent to me.
    The email that follows is shared with Lin's permission, Lin obviously feels his interview was mishandled, twisted.
    Jameson:
    I just read the Daily Camera article. I knew if I talked to the reporter that the Enquirer issue would overshadow my other comments. I praised you for your courage in the early years and for your major contribution in exposing the fraud of Don Foster. I emphasized that you were different from the other Internet "Ramsey junkies" because you were truly personally involved in working on the case, not just taking a position or making an argument on the Internet. I commented on your forum's excellent work in recent months on the 911 tape.
    When the story did not run on Wednesday, and Amy called me back on Thursday, I decided to comment to demonstrate to you that the Enquirer issue did not have to be the last word on my feelings about your contributions to the Ramseys and JonBenet.
    Reading the article, I should have gone with my first instinct and refrained from comment.
    Interestingly enough, Amy decided to expand the story - called a poster who is part of the BORG (pronounce that "lynch mob") to get HER take on the situation - - but never called one of my posters or supporters.
    Amy wrote,"Tricia Griffith, whose site forumsforjustice.org targets the parents as suspects, said there are still 'incredibly dedicated people' online committed to finding the truth about the case."
    Boy oh boy - - read that again and note where the quotation marks are - - is this the sign of a BORG publication or not?
    Tricia is not talking about people searching for the truth, she is talking about a few incredibly dedicated lynch mob members who are still accusing the Ramseys of horrible things with NO evidence that anything they say is true.
    Some will swear on a bible that Geraldo played the 911 tape on his show long ago - they HEARD it. John yelling at Burke. They HEARD IT! Geraldo denies it was ever played on his program (he is right) so they are saying he is lying about that. Delusion is their middle name - - all of them.
    Tricia is quoted further:
    "In my view they're going away because they don't have anything left to talk about," Griffith said. "The Ramsey supporters can't argue anymore because every one of their points has been refuted."
    My response is this- - ********! "They" are going nowhere that I am aware of. I am leaving - - one supporter is leaving. Big deal. New information is scarce so the discussion is slow, but it has continued. On many forums.
    Tricia's second statement is simply absurd.
    The DA has stated for the record that the weight of the evidence points to an intruder. The BORG can deny the facts and argue using suppositions, innuendo, myths, lies, and flames, but they haven't made a case against the Ramseys. For Amy to give credibility to Tricia's delusions was simply wrong.
    The resulting story was, IMO, a nasty piece of work.
    Lin was right, the right decision would have been to make no comment - the poison pen doesn't need quotes.
    The story published was shameful - - a typical BORG endeavor.
    The Boulder Camera should be ashamed.
    I am asking that this letter be published as a letter to the editor, uncut. I doubt it will happen. But I can assure you that the letter WILL be published online exactly as written here.
    Yeh. I understand
    the lack of interest, here. It's just more of the same ole', same ole', malarky jams has been humping on the past seven years.
    I wonder how the Boulder authorities would like it if we all decided to become part of the investigation, the way Wood brags jameson up for doing. What the heck, since Woody thinks it's an honorable thing to do, perhaps we all should start getting involved and being part of the investigation. Call them up, give them information and advice on how to conduct their case. If the DA gets mad at us, we can always quote her best friend Limpwood to her, right?
    Jameson should have stayed gone. She sounds more desperate every time she tries to cover up what she said the last time she posted and the message keeps morphing. I think she's a morphadyke.
    Now who would think Jameson was mentally ill?
    I do BobC, just a tad
    WY, I found interest in your post but I guess most are sick of saying the same things over and over about Jameson.
    I do not believe for a minute that she left on her own accord for personal reasons. I would bet she was threatened to "butt" out or else...she left too quick and without warning. If it was personal she would have hinted at such. It sure isn't her husband or kids that are making her do this, that would have happened long ago.
    Hey, I got it. Maybe her husband left her with the kids and took the computer. She is probably posting from a library...
    That's it, no?
    No.
    Isn't it obvious why she left? Over the course of years and who know how many posts, she accumulated so many "hats", she left the forums to open the "The Fedora Emporium."
    Hey Tricia,
    Did the reporter twist YOUR words around? Just wonderin
    I also think it's amazing that Lin Wood would have even shared what he did with someone as loony as Jameson. He must not have known about hir early apprearances as a man, an abused by snake person, a person who had 15 kids, all these other things which she now says was not true. Anyone who would even make this stuff up is wacky. Add all the perverted posts about the sex gloves and JonBenet that bordered on pornography, add to that all the lying, stalking and harassment of internet posters. It all adds up to one very severe multi personality disordered person.
    My opinion, of course.
    Hi Guys.
    Been gone for a bit, now I am back for a moment, then out the door again.
    Ilene-Sue, Amy Hebert quoted me EXACTLY. Nothing was "twisted."
    Jammy has her knickers in a wad because the story wasn't all about hir. That's it. Plus it gave hir a reason to come back and post.
    The Daily Camera contacted me out of the blue. Amy Hebert was very professional. It was a pleasent conversation.
    The only thing Amy didn't do was use my quotes about Lin Wood.
    Damn they were good too. Perhaps another day :)
    Back in a few days.
    They "don't even own a computer," remember!
    Tricia you are so right. It's amazing how often the poor thing is "misquoted." Jameson isn't at all interested in balance, she wants one sided propaganda and when she doesn't get it, her conditioner starts to boil!
    Yes siccing the CBI on the Pugh family was quite honorable. As was her masturbating toy sex glove theory she posted early on.
