Perhaps this show was the source of the mass hallucination, shared by many on this forum, that they had heard the "enhanced" 911 tape before.

That Rivera program was a discussion of the Burke tape bombshell, but the 911 call was not played in any form. Everytime this subject comes up I urge folks to contact Geraldo or his producer. I know what they'd say, but invite others to make the call and find out for themselves. Of course, then the believers will say it was some other program.

I also have told people to contact Larry Schiller and ask if he ever heard the 911 call in any form, prior to a few months ago. If anyone was privy, way back when, it would have been Schiller. As far as I know, no one has communicated with him and reported his comments.

Also, people still in touch with Steve Thomas should verify with him that the call was never released.

There are knowledgeable individuals who can put this mess to rest. I don't know why they're not being asked unless there's some joy in seeing a piece of bad information remain on the table.

It's an annoying matter to me as it's one thing that, if true, would be a total breakdown of ethical behavior on the part of law enforcement. I'm absolutely satisfied this didn't happen.

And trust me Fed - it annoys me too.

It was NOT on Geraldo and it was announced to be the original 911 call - not a reinactment. It was leaked but that doesn't necessarily mean that the BPD did it..........doesn't mean that they didn't either.

Now I will just take my hallucinating :behind: over to another thread.

Confession

I am one of those fools who believes he heard the enhanced 911 tape and remembers being shocked by the tone of John's voice. The Boulder DA claims that the enhanced tape has never been released and we all know their reputation for sticking to the literal truth. BUT, just to be sure, I have ordered the transcript of August 21, 1998 Rivera Live.

All I can say is if it had aired in any form, I would have had a tape of it. I don't.

I do remember.

The tape was not played. Marcia Clark was guest host on August 21st. She had a transcript of the 911 tape and she read the transcript of the tape. I believe that is why so many believe they actually heard the tape.

I believe someone ordered a copy of the transcript of the Geraldo's show that aired on August 21st. I believe the person that ordered the transcript was a member of The Acandyrose Forum as we discused this a long time ago on her forum. Acandyrose probably has a copy of that transcript.

ok...here i go again....i heard the tape........again.....i heard the tape.

and i have done my research.......and
you can NOT make a phone call to get this transcript of this show......

I HAVE TRIED!!!!!

the show i saw was the geraldo rivera show.
his old show. the shows are named
"The Ramsey's on Trial, Part 1" and
"The Ramsey's on Trial, Part 2.

he had a mock trial of the jonbenet ramsey case.
the show aired on 2 days.

part 1 was on november 25th, 1997.....
and part 2 was on november 26th, 1997.

because these shows were taped in 1997...they
are no longer available for purchase!

geraldo had certain "famous" lawyer people
play the part of the defense and present
that side of the case.........

and then had other "famous" lawyer people
play the part of the prosecutors and present
that side of the case.

then he had other "famous" people
be on the jury.

the only person i can picture on the jury
is a/an (older) woman who appeared on geraldo's show
frequently when geraldo did updates
on hollywood gossip.....i forget her name.
she has brown "upswept" hair.
if i saw her i would know her.

they ALL found the ramsey's guilty.....
and geraldo rivera agreed with them!!!!!!!!!!!

and this was the first show that got me
interested in the jonbenet ramsey case.

because i had heard lots of stuff on tv.....
and i just couldnt image the parents
being responsible for killing her........

but this show helped to change my mind......because
on THIS SHOW I HEARD the 911
call........and at the bottom of the screen
they typed in the words....because at the end
of the tape as you know....it is very difficult
to hear all the last words........

when i heard patsy "faking" this call.......
and then john talking so mean to burke.......,
i KNEW the ramsey's were lying........

because of course, they had said that burke
was asleep....then i heard on the tape....john
speaking so mean to burke on this 911 call...

i thought....if they lied during this phone call....
what else have the lied about.
i began to NOT trust them....and to further
investigate the case.

i promise you i heard it.........and saw all the 911
words typed out in a script.........
i have NO doubts.

i also saw the pic of John Andrew Ramsey
when he was at the ATM. or if that really
was John Andrew. from the pic you can NOT
tell if it is really him. the person has on
a baseball cap pulled down over their eyes.
the pic is date and time stamped.

i would LOVE to get a hold of this transcript
to prove to you all.

i have emailed geraldo over and over to
go back and see if he has the tape somewhere......
AND to discuss this case on his current show now
with all the new evidence.

but i have never gotten a response back.

i also remember the 911 tape being played on
a show like hard copy.

but to see 2 days of "The Ramsey's on Trial" ....there
is NO way i would forget what i saw........

i dont care who believes me or not.....
i know what i saw and heard.........

and i was in shock.......when it finally hit me......
that the parents WERE involved in their daughter's death.....
it made my heart so very sad......to know
that parents could and would lie to cover
their SORRY ES!!!!!

does anyone have connections with geraldo?

I had pals who worked on Hard Copy and have all their segments on tape.

Purr, the person you'r referring to is Cindy Adams, the NY Post reporter. In general emailing someone in the media is worthless because some junior staffer gets the questions and feels no obligation to pass along your questions or comments. If you want the answers, follow the ideas I cited in a previous post.

name from the description i posted.

i will try to contact her and
ask her questions about
her appearance on the
geraldo rivera show those 2 days.

she definetly has connections to geraldo.

and i know that the emails go to junior staffers.
i addressed the emails to them specifically
requesting them to pass the information on
to geraldo......but to no avail.

i will keep researching this until i find
someone who will get me the transcript
from those 2 shows!

Cindy Adams

Adams would have just been a guest on the show and not necessarily privy to the roll-in elements used. Call Geraldo's producer, who has been with him for years.

Or, as I've suggested again and again, call Schiller. Or Thomas. Or all of the above.

I saw the pic of JAR at the ATM also.
The pic was a very close up shot, so close, it wasn't clear. He had a base ball cap on, it shaded his eyes. There was no way to be absolutely sure it was JAR.
My old computer crashed so I don't have the pic.

I believe I saw the picture on *Cyber Sleuth Crime Forums*.
Someone posted it and I downloaded it.

The forum added new software, I registered, but could never sign on after that.

I was mostly a lurker, rarely posted. If you know anyone over there someone may still have it.

I bet the Swamp Queen has it! If anyone has boots handy maybe they could wade over there and look through the archives if that's possible.

I already have the answer. But if you want to support your theory you have to do the leg work. Schiller's number is out there, and Geraldo's producer is the same as it's been for the last 20 years.
