    Has she issued her opinion yet on the the Alleged murderer of Carlie?

    Will he fill the void that Westerfield's conviction left behind?

    Well,

    I'm sure she'll find something to exonerate him, RR. Afterall, it was his car in which they found evidence of Carlie, but can they place him in that car when she was there? She may have gotten in his car to play and cut herself and bled there.

    The wonders of the jamesonian mind....

    Perhaps she'll send another semen sample to prove he was with Mame at the time of the videotaped abduction....

    Back to serious.

    This is a copy of jameson's post. She does have emotions about this crime - but - I want this initial thoughts on this captured for posterity just in case she goes off the Deep End again.

    "This death has touched me deeply. The video, perhaps, made a difference. I don't know.

    I don't want to post a lot on anything right now. I am very depressed and angry and just want to lash out at the man on that video. But he is safe behind bars. No one can hurt him like he hurt that innocent child.

    OK - so here's the deal.

    I think people need a place to voice their outrage and invite anyone interested to do it here.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    A man I know is taking a class and had to write a paper denouncing the death penalty - - the teacher didn't give an option - no one could write a paper defending it. He and I were sharing coffee today and we discussed the paper. I told him I didn't see how he could write that paper now - but if he could write a paper in support - - all he would have to do would be to write two words.
    Carlie Brucia
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    I really don't have a lot more to say - I think my few posts here clearly state my position and I will leave it at that for now.

    I am lighting up a candle tonight for Carlie. She is in my thoughts. I hope she is at peace."

    I understand

    this is a solemn and sad time, RR. It is for all of us, but you know, there has to be a relief valve - not just for venting our anger but for lightening up a little, too; else, we would all go crazy. No one can maintain that level of depression and anger all the time. There has to be something else to talk about, and, yes, something to laugh about.

    I can remember once my sister and I were on our way to a favorite aunt's funeral. We were grieving heavily because we had truly loved her. We got held up by a train in the middle of the city. It was one long train, and we kept watching for the caboose. Something struck us both funny about the word "caboose," and we were off. We laughed so hard at that word, all the while knowing there was really nothing funny about caboose. We laughed until the tears ran down our faces and our sides hurt.

    When someone is hurting so much, emotions are very close to the surface and emotions exhibit themselves in some very strange ways, sometimes. Inappropriate laughter is one of those ways. There is nothing funny about what happened to Carlie, but it is a release to smack jameson because she has supported baby killers before.

    Seeing jameson's post only makes me seethe more. Because she didn't see little Danielle being walked to her death by that monster Westerfield, did that mean she had the right to call Danielle's parents names, make accusations against them, and defend Westerfield even after his conviction? What was this - a revelation to her? How does she think an abduction occurs? It's people like her who support baby killers in the face of insurmountable evidence they are guilty who make it possible for these destroyers of children to continue to hunt our children.

    That tape bothers me a lot, too - not only because I know Carlie was walking to her violent death, but also because it's confirmation of how easily these killers walk off with innocents.

    It's way past time for our educators, starting in pre-school, to make self-defense for kids part of the curriculum. I don't mean children should all wear black belts, I'm talking about teaching children how to spot potential trouble, what to do if they're approached, and, yes, how to fight if they have to. I'm not talking about a one-day, one-hour talk by a local police officer; I'm talking about a real, required course where there is in-depth learning with quizzes and grades. Repetition is the key to getting kids to absorb this kind of thing - it needs to be reinforced all the time. Not only could a course like this help prevent children from making crucial errors in judgment when approached by strangers, it could help them later on in life, especially young women, in risky situations.

    To those who think this type of education is counterproductive and scares the child, that's is just so much psychobabble. Children need to be afraid of someone who walks up and tries to grab them. Repetitive teaching would give these kids some confidence in knowing what they are supposed to do; it would make them aware, give them enough healthy fear to know when to run, and maybe save their lives.

    Every time another child is taken, our hearts are broken anew. We have been eye witnesses to the frustration and pain of RC and his family over the taking of Rachel Cooke over two years ago. There's been no resolution to their pain - they live with it every second of every minute of every hour of every day of every week of every month of every year.

    Every time another child is taken, a piece of every one of us goes, too. We've all have too many pieces taken. While we are here trying to do something to help the victims, jameson is plastering pornographic pictures of a minor on her forum and saying it's a young girl and her father associated with the Ramsey case. She attacked Danielle's parents in the midst of the most horrible thing that had ever happened to them, caring nothing about how her harsh words hurt them or anyone connected to them.

    I care nothing for what jameson feels - she left me cold a long time ago with her advocacy for baby killers and her attacks against innocent people. For her to even look upon the face of beautiful Carlie and profess grief after the things she has done to hurt others is a sacrilege to me.

    Sorry, RR, I know I'm being harsh. We reap what we sow in this life. Maybe I'll reap some scorn myself for my denouncement of Bennett, but I'll not be a hypocrite.

    Are you preaching to the Choir?! Or do I just throw people off guard when I (of all people) have a serious moment?! LOL - I am still me - and everything I say should be taken as spoken by a true southern smartasz.

    However - After Westerfield, we can not ignore jameson when a new case evolves is really all my point was.

    The funnies were just the icing on the cake - a sweet reminder of who we are dealing with.

    Yeh

    I'm preaching to the choir, RR, LOL. Can't help it, I can't stand phonies and hypocrites, you know. jameson's words mean nothing to me, she will go on defending baby killers as usual.

    I recently saw this post at the swamp.

    The post was made by the weakest link there, but whew, those double sses in obs(s)essed were like de ja vue.

    I agree WY but, I see the schools sending out the opposite message.
    Our children are not allowed to use self-defense in school. They will be punished along with the aggressor.
    I think that sends a terrible, terrible message to our children to stand and take what is dished out and not fight back against the bullys.
    And those aggressors do not feel the pain of reaping what you sow and learn that they can always get what they want thru force.

    and

    "The video, perhaps, made a difference. I don't know."

    What the hell is this suppose to mean? Perhaps? I don't know?

    OK, does this mean only because it's on video she's convinced?

    I don't hear anything sincere statement coming from her.

    Sandwich short of a picnic?

    jameson has said that she "didn't defend Westerfield" and that she "never said he was innocent" - both of which are true of you take them literally. Feldy defended Westerfield and jameson didn't say Westerfield WAS innocent - just that she thought he was. - or more precisely, she said she thought they had the wrong man and that Damon was a better suspect for Danielle's death.

    I am entirely convinced that her stance on vanDam was down to the vanDams' choosing to ignore her approaches. She was really angry about that. She tried to deny that she attempted to make contact with the vanDams, but the threads which record her discussing her attempts are all saved. She constatntly tried to phone the contact number and complained that she only ever got a recorded message. Then she urged others to phone it too - to hear the recorded message. She said she thought this was terrible - what if Danielle was trying to call? Her very actions of urgin people to phone the number were only going to clog up the lines - what If Danielle WAS trying to call?

    She posted vile comments about both Brenda and Damon vanDam. Only last week, I found another saved thread which she started to tell everyone that she had spoken with a woman who claimed that Damon had been sexually abusing Danielle. She claimed that she had arranged to call the woman on a "safe phone" and that she felt the woman was sincere. Some of her members criticised her for starting this vicious gossip thread, but her response was that their criticisms were 'noted'. Just imagine how she would have responded to a similar claim about John Ramsey?

    There is a poster at her forum right now called Clem. Clem is clever and that's all I'll say, but she'd better watch out because she's skating on this ice. Clem is a plain speaker who isn't toeing the party line on Ramsey. She has just come under fire for asking the simple question that 'isn't it a detective's job to ask questions?' (re Steve Thomas).

    A common theme that I'm seeing in the RST is that many of them have problems with authority - disdain of LE for example. This is coming through in many of their posts and is a factor of the case that I find particularly interesting. Alas, it isn't good for the Ramseys if their supporters are seen to comprise mainly of representatives of the loony left.
