When his daughter Rachel was abducted, Robert Cooke or RC as we know him here at FFJ decided from day one that he could and would not just sit in a chair and cry - and he hasn't. You can read about the search for Rachel Cooke here: http://www.rachelcookesearch.org/ and RC's daily journal here: http://www.rachelcookesearch.org/journal.html One of the things that has come out of RC's search for his daughter is the Rachel Alert Network or RAN, which is a 501C(3) nonprofit organization. The Rachel Alert Network, or RAN, is a charitable organization which helps prevent abductions through awareness education and provides information to friends and families of abducted persons. Part of that education has been to teach M.U.S.T. (Mentally Useful Safety Techniques) Self-defense & Awareness Seminars to women. http://rachelalert.org/must.html RAN is now ready to start taking membership applications from those of you who would like to actively take part RAN's mission. You can read RAN's complete mission statement here: http://rachelalert.org/index.html Below is a RAN membership application for those interested. Once you have printed it out and filled in the information, submit it along with your $20.00 membership fee to: Rachel Alert Network P.O. Box 1672 Georgetown, TX 78627 You will receive an official membership card by return mail. Your support and interest in providing awareness education regarding missing people is greatly appreciated.
If you are having difficulty reading the membership form or printing it out from the one above, RC has put a simple version of the form online at the RAN site. If you go here and drop down the index you will see a link that says, "Join RAN." http://rachelalert.org/index.html
