This means that the Ramseys via LW have filed an appeal of the trial court's ruling dismissing the case. If the CO appellate court grants the request, it will review the transcript of the motion to dismiss hearing to determine if the trial court committed any errors in coming to its conclusions that produced the dismissal. If the appellate court finds error(s), it will either send the case back to the trial court for a new hearing or just set aside the dismissal which will "reactivate" the case to proceed into discovery then trial. It usually takes between 3-6 mos. for the appellate court to review such things, but it is not obligated to perform a review. If it decides not to review, the request will be flatly denied.

ooooooh, Wood and the Rams can't even lose gracefully. What huge egos they have. I don't think the decision will be overturned, but what do I know?

    EGO is right, Watching You.

But - Where would they get the money for an appeal?

Maybe Lin is working pro bono!

    Sore losers...

Patsy has always been a sore loser, right on back to her almost- Miss America days.

As for Lin Wood, lawyer for the Damned, he hasn't gotten a paycheck from the Ramseys for a long time. I don't think he'll work too hard on this appeal.

I am certain this is nothing more than grandstanding by the THREE BIG EGOS!

Ramsey and Wood know they won't win but they want to be able to say, "See, we are so innocent we will even appeal this ruling. We wouldn't do this unless we are innocent."

It's all for show. As is everything with the Ramseys.

Michael Jackson has stolen the Rams limelight. You know Patsy needs the camera to live....just like Norma Desmond.

Thanks for the information, Deja. I suppose this is the Ramseys way of still trying to convince the public they are innocent, by their persistance and appealing against Fox.

That's one way to look at it, guys. But another is that LW is committed to provide his clients with vigilant and vigorous representation. It is appropriate from both an ethical and legal standpoint to appeal the ruling. Not that ethics is LW's cup of tea.

Filing and presenting to the appellate court an appeal also accrues additional fees for HIMSELF under a fee agreement. And, if the ruling is reversed or somehow reactivates the suit, his opp for sharing the booty becomes larger as well.

So which is it-ethics and innocence or colossal egos and greed? My guess is the plate is chock full to overflowing on the plaintiff side of this fence. :fishslap:

Not ethics and innocence. Maybe ethics of colossal egos and greed.

Randy Candy says the Ramseys have withdrawn their appeal. :violin:

Somehow it's all FW's fault, according to psychoCandy. And my main man, ST, whom Freebird keeps trying to steal away from me but it's not gonna happen, MsBird.

The news didn't even make the local Colorado papers as far as I can see nor does Court TV have anything on their website about it.

It's probably true, though. We all know how honest gutter Candy is.
