Details of Abduction:
------Developing------Sevkija Ferhatovic is now in the custody of The Salt Lake City Police Department. He is currently being interviewed by investigators as to the disappearance of Destiny Norton. Further details as they become available. An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing five-year-old girl named Destiny Norton. Police are looking for a 51-year-old man in connection with the case.

The man of interest is Sevkija Ferhatovic. He also goes by Sezgija Ferhatovic, and was born in Bosnia-Herzegozina. Ferhatovic was stopped by officers in the area of 700 S. 500 E. last night shortly after Destiny Norton left her home.

He was released, but information developed since that time leads investigators to believe that Ferhatovic needs to be interviewed again.

Police say Destiny was getting ready for bed around 8:30 last night. She wanted to stay up later, but was told to get ready for bed, instead. Five minutes later the five-year old was nowhere to be found.

Police began questioning friends and family, but no one has seen the little girl. Lt. C.T. Smith, Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "They've been going out in extended areas with flyers we've made up, contacting anybody they see in the street, trying to find out more information."

Police searched all night, going door to door. But they haven't had any luck.

Police also began questioning motorists driving in the area. That's when they originally talked with Ferhatovic. Now they are looking for him again. They went to his home and found his car, but have not been able to locate him.
