Wow, maybe that's what we all picked up on that phoneyness about Patsy.

You know what they say. If it is too good to be true...

Babe - that was my thought. It would explain the timing and why Team Ram isn't going ApeChit over this. Good to know that you have your ear to the ground for us!

After listening to news reports all night, I remain skeptical on this one. I still remember all of the damning facts that point towards a family member committing this crime. I have my doubts.
I despise the Ramseys and this is just my opinion

Wasn't there a rumor back then that Patsy had left the house that night to meet a man? and Patsys comment that WE didn't mean for this to happen.

Wow, you know PR usually said John Ramsey, and I was always like, well who else - John Fernie? Maybe it was this John. But maybe not. We will see. WS posting that he was in AL w/family Christmas '96.

I remember the same thing, Freebird.

What keeps jumping out to me is this guy "confessed to SOME parts of the crime." Who was his accomplish?

I have serious questions concerning the "wording" being used - -

Also, "Karr confided in his lawyer. His lawyer called Boulder DA." Is this ethical unless the client agrees?

I will contact my one remaining FBI "source" tomorrow...

Karr confided in his lawyer...and his lawyer dropped a dime on him?

Guess attorney client privilege means nothing to this attorney.

"University of Colorado Law Professor Paul Campos declared the letter a 'reckless exoneration.' He went on to state, 'Everyone knows that relative immunity from criminal conviction is something money can buy.
Apparently another thing it can buy is an apology for even being suspected of a crime you probably already would have been convicted of committing if you happened to be poor.'"

Maybe the attorney was an ex-Boulder attorney.

sorry, posting bits of what I'm hearing.
Pam Paugh has said twice tonight none of the Ramseys had ever heard of John Karr, including John. She said Patsy had not mentioned anything about this to her.

Me too, they are being very adamant that it was parts of this crime. So maybe her get up (the garrotte and useless shoestring bondage) was for taking child pornography pics and it went too far.
