There's a lot of misinformation going on out there. Now they're saying Karr isn't being held on sex charges. What else is false that we're hearing?

Thai police deny Karr held on sex charges

Federal officials in the United States said he was being held in Bangkok on unrelated sex charges. But Thai police said he had not committed any crime in Thailand.

"When we informed him that he has been accused of committing a crime at home he denied all accusations. It is normal for a suspect to deny the charges," said another senior police officer who requested anonymity.

The suspect, who has been in Thailand four times over the past two years, was being detained by immigration police pending arrival of U.S. officials, the police officers said.

Mark Furman on Greta's show just explained that the US has an agreement with Thailand that they will arrest people in the country that the US wants arrested. It's not unusual that Thailand gives up people going there as pedophiles to use the children that are in the slave trade there.

He also fingered the DA for giving out case info to the Ramsey lawyers.

He was the best talking head I've heard so far tonight.

Bet he is being extradited on the California charges, taken to Boulder for "questioning". I just don't think this is a given with this guy. Too much outstanding as to his whereabouts, etc.

But we all know how the Ramseys are (and Woodpecker), get the info out there to exonerate the family, and then they can dispute the rest later.

Hellsbells, it is the first one that has confessed...you can bet your sweet bippy they are hand-delivering him to Boulder!

I believe so. Huge tire tracks on his back.

Yep, we've heard so much BS by now, about three quarters of which has already been disputed, it's ridiculous.

The RST orchestrated this whole sham, didn't they?

Keenan sure hasn't taken her VICTORY! lap yet.

Ok, first, Thailand has an agreement with the US to DETAIN and hold Americans who are persons of interest in criminal cases, not arrest them. They have no arrest powers over American citizens unless an American has committed alleged crimes in Thailand jurisdiction (which this official denies), AND HENCE, that is why BPD is winging their way to Bangkok.

Second, his visa was revoked because he was ACCUSED of a crime in the US????? Who the hell accused him other than private citizens (Tracy? Smit? Ramsey?) and since when do THEY have any persuasive powers over foreign factions, er, authorities? In order for Thailand to act to detain, they must be requested to do so by a federal, not state, authority. So if the FBI had not a clue about this till we did, what federal agency authorized Thailand authorities to detain Karr? Just how far do John Ramsey's strings connect????

"Karr was arrested at his apartment in downtown Bangkok at the request of U.S. officials, and was being held until they arrived, Thai police said. Suwat said he expected U.S. officials to take Karr back to America in the next few days."

The sad part of the PATHETIC Media Blitz is that MOST Americans will ONLY remember these early, INACCURATE, FABRICATED "nuze" reports ... and they won't follow the weak-kneed media retractions.

In the Public's Mind ... the perp has been caught ... and it ain't a Ramsey. That is all that the RSTeam is trying to do here. It's a common ploy ... saturate the media with a frenzy of misinformation in YOUR favor, and the lion's share of the public will simply accept it ... and move on. We are sheep.

Our NUZE Media has turned to smit! This has GOT TO STOP!!!

Geezus! Why do we ACCEPT this kind of yellow journalism?! This has GOT TO STOP!!!

We NEED to get our NewsMedia back! SnakeOil Salemen are in control of our news media ... and This has GOT TO STOP!!!

DejanNu, the man has a warrant for his arrest in California, charged with possession of child pornography. THAT'S why he was detained.

If Keenan is having him arrested for the murder of JonBenet, as she stated she is, she may have jumped the gun, ya' think?

WE NEED A MEDIA SPOKESPERSON to combat these OUTRAGEOUS lies and distortions.

We NEED a voice ... a committee of voices who will CHALLENGE ... challenge every single item of misinformation.

EVERY TIME a member of the Ramsey Spin Team takes to the airwaves, WE MUST INSIST on having a representative to counter the Limp One-Sided viewpoint.

Look ... NO media outlet is as UP on this case as some of YOU are. They cannot be expected (in this day and age) to have the INTIMATE KNOWLEDGE of the case to properly question the RST assertions. We need equal time.

We gotta have a VOICE!!! We must DEMAND a voice.

That's what I said, KK, Karr is being DETAINED as opposed to arrested as someone else posted above and all the media reports claim. No arrest, detainment only. Thailand doesn't have authority to arrest an American for alleged American crimes. That was my point.

"Is that CatNip that you are smoking, DejaNu? VERY good posts....YumYum"

Umm, ok, yeah. Me and Billy Clinton have been tokin' catnip since the 60's, yeah, DAT's it! LOL Thanks for the kudos-law's been my business for many years and I just have to set the record straight on all this "arrest" crap. My aunt Fannie.....:dammit:

Did Carole say that Deju Nu?

Was a guy on Nancy Grace yesterday who listed off around 2 dozen discrepencies of the case last night...was comfortable in the house, wrote long note, took JB to a basement room in a sprawling house he'd never been in, etc.

He's the only one I've seen so far who hasn't been spun by the RST....all Jane Valez Mitchell could do was pop her eyes out and say, 'Wow finally an arrest'....Jane swallowed the bait Woody held before her eyes.

If that Jane grinds out one more syllable about this, I'm going to scream.

Baden was on tv this morning, and he sounded a bit skeptical, saying they had to have more than a confession to make this a case. He also said he didn't think they had the man's DNA yet.

But he has been arrested, as I'm sure y'all know by now, as a US agent was in the press talking about it in Thailand this morning.

This guy looks really whacked to me.

No, Show Me, YumYum provided that kudos...

KK: "But he has been arrested, as I'm sure y'all know by now, as a US agent was in the press talking about it in Thailand this morning."

He's been remanded over to the custody of US law enforcement to be extradited back to the US to be formally charged or just questioned or remanded over to some state authorities if there really are outstanding warrants of any kind. This type of custody is usually referred to as "arrested" but technically someone can't be "arrested" until they are charged which cannot happen until Karr is brought before a Boulder court. At this point, he's simply in the legal custody of US authorities.

Body photo of John Mark Karr. He looks absolutely emaciated and nothing like his photos from several years ago.
