Our family's perspective Our lives have been changed forever by Rachel's disappearance. Not only have we lost our loving daughter but we lost our lives at least for the time being. Every day is spent trying to find something else that we can do to bring her back or at least to get some sort of closure to this. Many emotions constantly come to us. Among them are sorrow, anger, guilt but most of all helplessness. How can we help her? Hundreds of family members, new and old friends, ministers, coworkers, law enforcement and others have worked extremely hard to search, gather clues, investigate and be with us.They have also been our rock to hold on to. It's hard for me to understand how hundreds of thousands of people can be so good and then have a few handfulls of bad apples that make us suffer. We love you Rachel, where ever you are.
