I have the enlarged photos (Here at home) from the CS. I can tell you FOR SURE that the hair on JBR's Shirt (In the photo with the palm heart) is NOT split. It is 2 seperate hairs. BOTH are different. The smaller hair looks to be HUMAN. The larger hair, Synthetic, from a doll. That smaller hair, to me , looks like PR hair texture and color. As I look at these large photos I will tell you other things I see. They are really different this big. WOW! I see alot of fibers and other things.

    Nope

There is a clear break in the hairs. It is 2 seperate pieces. If one split off the other, why is the texture so different.

I agree that it is two seperate pieces of hair. One is obviously thinner than the one which is easily seen. I don't think you can tell by the photo if one is human and one is synthetic.

Patsy wore wigs when she first met Judith Phillips. Patsy wore wigs when she had cancer. Patsy wore wigs when we saw her on TV. Patsy had plenty of synthetic hair in her life. If she wore human hair wigs, she had plenty of "other peoples' hair" in her life. Because of secondary and tertiary transfer, the hair proves nothing, even if it can't be matched, because hair is everywhere in this world. It would only be significant if it belonged to...oh...JOHN MARK KARR. And it doesn't, so says Lacy.

Of course, JonBenet had dolls. So the hair could be from a doll. She got one for Christmas, in fact, the My Twin doll. They were all over the house. She'd been at the White's house, as well, playing with Daphne, another child who I am sure had dolls.

I guess I'm not sure what the fixation with dolls is here. We know about the cord and duct tape from the doll theory. It's a theory. Like many, we have no way of proving it. Plus all the pictures I've seen of the cord on the doll in question show a round cord, not a flat one like used with the garrote and wrist cord. Maybe they used flat cord in 1996 matching the doll in question, but it's still just a theory until we see a source that proves it.

I applaud you for your efforts, Insight. You have brought up some interesting ideas. That's the thing about having ideas and playing them out. Even if they don't pan out immediately, they can lead to other ideas that do eventually. I think your work on the hand/heart photo is great. It's worth pursuing as I've never seen anyone mention/notice/discuss the "bumps" before, and now I'm thinking an explanation is needed. It may be nothing but a normal childhood rash or whatever, but it's worth following up because it is still unusual to have a rash on the palm.

And nobody has EVER explained the red ink on the hand. Since JonBenet and Daphne were playing with JEWELRY-making kits with both fathers that night at the White's house, surely marks on JonBenet's hands would have been noticed. But we don't know what the Whites said about that, do we? Never will, probably, but it's another unanswered question.

    Good work.

    heart

The mark in the palm doesn't really look like a heart when it is enhanced. It looks more like a "G" if she held up her hand, her palm facing her eyes and her thumb up.

    koldcase- thanks

thanks, it means alot coming from you. really. You seem to always offer a thanks for hard work. And over mt hand full of "NOPES" - :leia:
I do have more to offer soon. Wouldn't it be totally awesome if what was found in those first photos of the CS showed us the truth. I know, it probally wouldn't go far, but what if we could catch them with their pants down, just work'in, snapp'in shots. LOOK in the basement where JBR was found. I see 2 paint cans, a Large plastic tub of something like caulking. There is a shovel and a log grabber on the floor, not standing up. There is a roll of garden light wood fencing rolled and tied. There are screens, there are wood wedges under the door to "KEEP" it open. (These could have also kept them "JAMMED" until JR wedged them out. (Why the Police Officer couldn't get in). There is more! What is the white stuff on the floor, from the calking? the hand has NO HEART. It appears scraped or quick burned from grabbing something. I feel the red paint was added by......well.. you know..to cover it up. I found the 3rd fireplace, in the entry way room. There ARE tools there. How Many? Which are missing? There is additional hait in JBR sleve of the heart, I see it blown up, looks like 2 strands with a big top. Doll? Isn't the fire place right by the kitchen where they had pinapple? Could she have touched one of the hot handles ot tools, cried , screamed, and got wacked? I'm tellin you (US ALL) recheck EVERY INCH of ALL THE PHOTOS ! It speaks volumes. We can maybe discover how or time line, or who, or why,or Just it is there. Lets put it together , like a puzzle. Please follow me on this , all of use. I know this is the place to go. Back, to day 1. Thanks FFJ Friends!! INSIGHT

I think people need to remember that the pictures we are seeing are fairly low quality digital copies of pictures on the internet. Most pictures on the internet are at 72 dots/pixels per inch because that is the best 'size' to see things on the internet and not take forever to load the pictures. If we try to make it bigger, we don't get more detail, it just gets bigger and the pixels get larger. The original crime scene photos are film, which has a lot more resolution and shows a lot more detail. (I remember reading a photograph on film has more like 8,000 dots per inch).
The digital pictures we see are made up of lots and lots of individual pixels of color. A fold in your hand isn't the same color as the flatter parts of the hand. Blood vessels underneath the skin are not the same color as the surrounding skin. When you apply any filters, dodging or anything else to a picture, it affects the pixels and their color. It doesn't know that the sort of reddish color in one spot is from ink and the very close sort of reddish color in another spot is one of the lines in the hand or a place where there is a shadow. It just affects all the pixels that exist in the picture the same way. That doesn't mean the things are not there, but just that they may not be what they look like. They may be part of the picture and not part of reality.

The people who took the pictures saw the actual hand. They would not have mistaken a burn, scrape, abrasion or scabies spot for ink. And to me (a mother of 2 girls who had been 6 years old in the past), it may not look like a heart an adult would draw, but it looks very much like a heart a 6 year old would. And, even if there is more on her hand, that doesn't prove anything. Patsy is the source of "JB wouldn't draw on her hands". Patsy may not have thought so (or even may have punished JB for writing on her hands - doesn't look good for the beauty queen in the pageant to have things drawn on her hands), but if you just went to an elementary school and looked at the kids hands, you would find a lot with stuff written on their hands.
We currently have a gas fireplace, but we have had a wood burning fireplace in the past, so I can add some insite into into firplaces.

Except for when the tools are actually in the fire, they are not hot. The purpose of the handles are to have a part that you can hold without getting hot, so they would not get hot at any rate. But, even the other part that actually goes in the fire doesn't stay hot that long.
I also think it's very unlikely that any of the fireplaces would have been hot that night. Why?
The family had been gone to the party at the Whites all evening and arrived home late. They were planning to leave very early the next morning for the airport. A fire takes a long time to get going and a certain amount of 'babysitting' to keep going. It's not something I would do before going to a party, not something I would do before going to bed and I'd certainly want a fire to be out before I left on a trip.
So chances are that those fireplaces were cold that night.

Insight, don't forget to use the autopsy. It's difficult, but you must rely on it and learn the lingo as much as you can. Use the search function, as we have some very solid medical info from professionals who explain things to us lay persons. There are many books which can explain a lot, as well. Things look different on a dead body than on a living one. Colors of the skin change quickly. Rigor and livor mortis are complicated processes, but they can tell a lot about what happened at which stages of life and death, peri-mortem injuries vs post mortem, decay, etc.

Remember that there were two medical experts who examined the body and/or autopsy findings before Dr. Meyers wrote the autopsy report. One Meyers brought in because he was a pediatric specialist. He knew he had to get it right. There is no mention of any kind of burn on the hand at all. The bumps seem to be a rash and are very tiny. A hot metal utensil would cause a dark burn of the flesh before it became a blister. I think it would be larger, as well. But I am honestly intrigued by those bumps, as well. I once had a rash on my palms and hands as a young adult, but it was caused by a reaction to birth control pills. A chemical might have caused this on JonBenet. Wonder if the jewelry-making kit caused HER to have a skin reaction to some of the dyes or plastics or glues? Or maybe she got some drops of hot wax on her in some other craft project, like a hot wax gun is used for? Hmmmmm

There are many possibilities about what caused the head blow. Fireplace tools have been considered, as well. I don't know how anyone is ever going to prove what it was, though.
