Well, if she doesn't, wouldn't you think that was a Lie?

Topix and Tricia Griffith are both named...once they ascertain who the anonymous poster is the name will be added to the others in the complaint. The complaint indicates "poster was given the right and privilege to post at Topix and Websleuths..."
Also, later in the suit it discusses the TOS...so Tricia and Topix are considered liable if the posts break the rules in the TOS. So many of the posts at both forums break the TOS...

As I suggested to them in the past it might not be a bad idea to clean up the posts that could be considered criminal...it might save them some real headaches down the road. But, they persist.

This is the initial complaint, in many cases after the initial discovery other suits follow. Otherwise why would why would the forums be speaking for Tricia asking for "understanding" that she's involved in a suit.

    Lies are prosecutable.

I have to give Mame credit. She NEVER misses an opportunity to show the world what an idiot she is.
Did she even take the time to read the lawsuit?--Obviously NOT.

    in a suit.
Rat, I don't think Suma knew about the lawsuit until it was officially posted today because all she's been saying lately is something is going to happen regarding Fleet White. That's her obsession and fondest wish. The Westmoreland suit has nothing to do with Fleet White. Suma's just jumping on the bash Tricia/FFJ bandwagon. She'd better watch herself. Since Topix is also named in the suit, and Suma has been vehemenently posting her Fleet White libel and slander at that forum recently, she might just be the next "internet poster" grilled on the barbie.

Oh my good god, this is going to be quite the suit for RW to advance. What was that he said? His address was unlisted? No, no, sir, not when it got listed right out in the open in public records when he contributed to John Ramsey's campaign. And it is special knowledge that he has a pool? Again, no, no, sir, not when a person can enter the address in John Ramsey's campaign contribution records and see a satellite photo of the same pool on Google Maps.

So, a person could know those things about him, and never even get within a thousand miles of his house.

Edited to add: Wow. Campaign contribution records, as it turns out, can sink the whole stalking claim, since RW's "unlisted" address is also listed in campaign contributions to the Bush 2004 campaign.

I am unaware of anyone who's profited from exploiting the Ramsey murder over a longer period of time, with a greater disregard for the principles of accuracy and fairness, than the production team of Mills and Tracey. They truly do inhabit a different moral universe from real journalists. It's the difference between journalism and propaganda.

So let me get this straight. First, the FBI, when the U.S. is scrambling every day to keep us from getting attacked by terrorists across the entire country, to try to protect our borders, and to aid LE across the country in stopping drug production, import, and sales, child prostitution and pornography, serial murderers, illegal weapons trade, internet crime in the form of financial fraud, identity theft, etc., etc., has found the time to INVESTIGATE...mame's claims that SHE has been threatened by Dimwit?

If that's true, I don't know who is more useless, mame or the FBI.

And she's "been told" that she's NOT a public figure (no sources, OF COURSE): in spite of her own PROACTIVE disbursement of her own personal information in newsprint and on the internet; her never-ending claims that she's a journalist and has IMPECCABLE SOURCES, WHICH SHE USES TO "REPORT" INFORMATION ON FORUMS, CONSTANTLY NAMING PUBLIC FIGURES AND CASE INSIDERS IN LITTLE PERSONAL ANECDOTES AND ENDORSEMENTS, IMPLYING THESE ARE HER INSIDE SOURCES; in spite of her former public persona as the face of a radio station she promoted in newspapers herself.

Who is her attorney? Surely not Lin Wood. Remember Lin Wood? He was defeated a couple of years ago in his quest to keep Richard Jewel from being legally deemed a public figure because JEWEL SPOKE AT ONE PRESS CONFERENCE after the Atlanta Olympic bombings. Now that a judge ruled Richard Jewel is IN FACT a public figure because of that one press conference, it changed the complexion of the lawsuit Wood is still fighting for Jewel against the Atlanta Journal Constitution. At least, the suit hadn't been to trial or settled, the last I heard.

Anyhoooo...one has to wonder how mame is paying for her lawyer advice? Oh, wait...is she using one of her old dear friends she so often name-drops to IMPLY she has such GOOD SOURCES SHE WON'T NAME when she's CLAIMING TO BE A REPORTER NO ONE SHOULD EVAH QUESTION while putting out INFORMATION that no one can CHECK...?

Well, I guess if she sues, we'll get to find out, as that will be an issue that will be part of the suit and will be ruled on by a judge.

"University of Colorado Law Professor Paul Campos declared the letter a 'reckless exoneration.' He went on to state, 'Everyone knows that relative immunity from criminal conviction is something money can buy.
Apparently another thing it can buy is an apology for even being suspected of a crime you probably already would have been convicted of committing if you happened to be poor.'"
