    For Summer,

Nobody is attacking you! That's first.

The ISSUE is Lou Smit. You have chosen, and it is quite noble, to solicit funds for Smit. That is very nice of you. This has nothing to do with you personally. You must understand that:

This is likely one of the highest profile cases in HISTORY

Lou Smit was very involved with the investigation into and subsequent arrest of John Mark Karr. He has since NOT done the professional thing and made a public statement regarding his role in all of this and what he did to bring Karr back for the arrest. He chose to stay silent, leaving the public to believe that after all is said and done, he made an error that he isn't professional enough to own up to and come forward to discuss; something the public has a right to know

Lou Smit was/is very involved with Michael Tracey, who, over the years has made one blunder after another and has caused a great deal of damage to many lives due to his eagerness to put his bank account over the lives of human beings that had nothing to do with JonBenet's murder.

Lou Smit is investigating a homicide for a very wealthy family, who can well afford to help him out financially, IF THEY CHOSE TO!

If Lou needs money to continue his "investigation", John Ramsey should be the natural solution to help him in that crusade. John Ramsey can well afford to send Lou money if he needs it and can certainly afford it more than yourself (with bills to pay and a pending marriage), and those other everyday people posting on the forums.

Now I understand that the donations are by choice and nobody is forcing anyone to send money, but you should understand that when one solicits funds for a cause that so many are familiar with, those same people would like to know just what he's working on and what has been done with the other funds previously solicited for him. Were they used to investigate Karr?

What is he doing now for JonBenet?

He needs to come forward and tell the public what he has done and what he needs the money for.

If he is willing to accept funds, then he has to give contributors some answers.

Before you say that YOU are soliciting the funds and NOT HIM, let me explain that it does not matter; if he is ACCEPTING the money, then it is only professional and MORALLY proper to explain what it will be used for and what past funds have been used for.

People expect nothing less when they consider making donations.

This issue has gotten sidetracked into "flames", etc. in an effort to cover up what the forums are REALLY asking and THAT is what Smit is doing with the money.

Although letting you think that YOU are being flamed is a nice little distraction from the real issues for the RST; don't get sucked into that mindset. Nobody is after YOU, just your cause for Lou Smit.

Giving Lou money is like dropping a five in the lap of begging homeless person.
You know where it's gonna go and it ain't to no good.

All Lou/Lacy/Tradey can do is find one Karr wreck after another. All that will do is show who the fools are in a brighter light and narrow the field to Patsy.

I'll send Lou an Amero when they start printing them.

You know, I'm kind of shocked that Smit would take money from strangers, much less brag about it in a news interview.

I'm sure he's paying taxes on that, right?

Or has Smit started a non-profit agency, filed with the IRS and with a board and all that? If so, we can get those records and find out what he's spent the money on:

The very appearance of impropriety should be enough to cut this one off before it gets off the pad.
