LOL - I am reading this an wondering what world you people live in!

The Ramseys didn't put out any press release - that was Lin Wood - a very angry Lin Wood. He later celmed down and we became friends again. He even visited the group in chat to show we had smoothed over. But the BORG forgets all that.

    <Toth> Welcome.
<Margoo> Good Evening Mr. Wood, oh exalted one
<maikai> Hi Lin.......great phone call, tonight
<Margoo> we are all friendly here
<maikai> Do you think you and Wendy could be friends?
    <Evening2> Welcome, Mr. Wood
<Evening2> Boy, were we glad you called in - we think that should become a
routine for you whenever any talking heads and experts are expousing on the
    case
<Lin_Wood> I doubt very seriously that Wendy and I will ever be "friends"
    <maikai> Kane sure backed down
<Slapfish> Hello-so glad you joined us
    <maikai> lol
    <Slapfish> no loss then
<Lin_Wood> Let me express my thanks to all of you for your continued interest
    and support for this family.
    <Margoo> did you know Wendy?
    <Margoo> you are welcome
<maikai> yes...the addiction is still there
<Evening2> Although Abrams was good about correcting and defending
misinformation, he should learn, by now, that the note was found when Patsy
discovered JonBenet missing, not when Patsy found her body - he said that
    three times during tonight's show
    <maikai> Kane was illogical.......
<Margoo> v. glad you made it
<maikai> said the BPD saw the evidence....but ignored Keenan seeing it to
<Lin_Wood> A glaring misstatement by Dan - a good example of how the media
    conveys false information
<Slapfish> Do you have plans to specifically shoot down any other particular
myths as you have done with the 911 tape?
<Evening2> always - we sit here and proofread
    <Margoo> good Q slap
<maikai> Abrams, I thought, was better than usual about knowing the facts
<maikai> Oh...question on the stun gun marks
<Lin_Wood> Overall, I thought Dan seemed to get it.
<maikai> Can't Meyer be required to go back and change his report?
<Slapfish> HE did a very good job-sticking to Judge Carnes ruling
<Margoo> the word "abrasions" is NOT a problem
<maikai> In other words, there is good evidence there was a stun gun...Meyer missed it..
<Slapfish> I think he made the others look VERY foolish for discounting the opinion of a Federal Judge
<maikai> stun gun was one of the things leading to death
<Lin_Wood> Dr. Michael Doberson is the most compelling witness on the fact that a stun gun was used.
<Toth> I doubt the stun gun played any role whatsoever in bringing about the death.
<maikai> So why can't Meyers be requested to change his report in light of new
    compelling evidence?
<Evening2> Many of us probably know more about individual suspects than the BPD
and DA put together For example, I have done research on two favorite suspects
for 6 1/2 years - I began by following the evidence and have concluded they
    are the perps
<maikai> If you read a death certificate, it has several blanks.....
<maikai> and coroner lists things contributing to the death...marks were still
    red
<jameson> Kane has been off this case since 1999
<maikai> Evening..we all have our favorite perps
<Evening2> I don't think Meyers has to change the report - his identification of
the marks as abrasions does not negate the cause being from a stun gun - he
didn't know what caused the abrasions so he only identified what they were -
    not what caused them
<Lin_Wood> Myers made what he believed at the time to be accurate observations -
he never thought about closely examining the marks to determine whether they
    were stun gun marks.
    <maikai> at the time...but there's new evidence
<Slapfish> It seems reasonable to me-there was no reason he would know, if he
was not familiar with such marks
Margoo> I don't think the Autopsy report needs changing, Maikai
<maikai> What is your next step Lin?
    <maikai> I do
<jameson> When Doberson first did the Boggs autopsy, he also thought the marks
were abrasions - - it was later he found out they were from a stun gun
<maikai> Not unlike other deaths when a coroner makes a bad call
<Lin_Wood> My major disappoint in the show tonight was its failure to emphasize
    the new information about DNA.
<maikai> That's why Doberson is credible
<jameson> but now he is the expert on stun gun injuries
<maikai> Yes...too much time on the 911 call
    <Margoo> me, too, Lin
    <maikai> misinformation
<Evening2> Nothing much was said about the DNA
<Slapfish> I think that will take a whole other show
<Margoo> re DNA you said two spots in the panties on LKL
    <Lin_Wood> Yes, two spots.
<Margoo> what is the DNA-X (Beckner said it was not on the body or clothing)
<jameson> CBS showed a small part of that report - I would still like to post
    the whole thing.
<Toth> DNA is still not linked to any known individual, its merely qualified
for CODIS submission by any accredited agency.
<Slapfish> and all of the DNA matches-from fingernails and panties?
<maikai> What about the cigarette butts? Ask Mary Keenan to have them tested
<Lin_Wood> With consistent DNA intermingled in both spots of JonBenet's blood -- probably saliva.
    <jameson> saliva!!!!
    <Lin_Wood> yes
    <jameson> that's news
<Slapfish> do you know the status of CODIS submission?
    <Margoo> SAM was right!
    <maikai> no surprise, jameson
    <Evening2> Male saliva?
<Margoo> what is DNA X then?
    <Lin_Wood> yes
<jameson> I thought early on that the killer might have spit on his finger for
    lubricant
<Evening2> Could it have been planted, Lin?
<Toth> I believe a profiler thought saliva would be the source right from
the start... John Douglas, I think.
<Lin_Wood> The DNA will one day solve this case -- no doubt about it.
<Slapfish> has the DNA been submitted to CODIS yet?
<maikai> Lou Smit said he thought JBR got a piece of the perp...so I thought it
might be skin under her nails
<Lin_Wood> I have an early curtain call tomorrow -- I have to pick up my daughter from summer camp. Again, thanks for your support for this remarkable family.
<maikai> The cigarette butts found outside should be tested to see if the DNA might be the same on some of them
    <jameson> good night, Lin
<Margoo> thanks for stopping by Lin
<maikai> Thanks for stopping in......your a good father and lawyer
    <Toth> Thank You, LW.
<Evening2> Good Night Lin - we're glad you're on the case
<Slapfish> thank you for your support and hard work
    <Margoo> g' night Lin
<Lin_Wood> Please stay interested and know that you play an important role in achieving justice for this family and for JonBenet. Thanks and good night.

Pretty shameful how he didn't have the guts to actually go on the show in person, then has to try and rewrite history like that. Don't work that way, Linny. Not for anyone who actually saw it.
