OPRAH takes on the sex offenders
I've been an on again, off again fan of Oprah - on again because of the good things she does, off again because it turns me off when I think she's being ostentatious, as in when she gave away a bunch of cars on her show. Something about the extravagance annoys me.
I am now an on-again fan, because she is using her fame and her wealth to go after child sexual predators/offenders, offering $100,000 reward to anyone who turns in sex offenders to the FBI. Yesterday she gave the first $100,000 to two women who turned in a sex offender for whom the FBI had been looking. In addition, a second child molester is off the street and in custody because of Oprah's efforts. I watched the first show she did a week or so ago and was genuinely convinced she's in this for the long haul. But, isn't it a shame that it takes a powerful talk show hostess like Oprah to get people moving on these child predators. My hat's off to Oprah on this one. FFJ stands up for the rights of every child to grow up happy, safe, and unmolested by perverts. Oprah's cause has been our cause since the inception of FFJ, and we applaud her for taking a hard line with the scumballs who prey on our little ones.

I caught just a little bit of the show WY, and I have to tell you, I am totally impressed with what she is doing, outwardly and from within...she is fighting some of her own demons with this as well. I have always said if you want to be known as a philanthropist - make it for a good cause. My hat is off to her on this one 100000000000000% !!!!!!!!!

The most important thing Oprah is doing is telling legislators, judges, LE, and the predators that she's not going to stop until the laws regarding child sexual offenders are changed and the offenders who belong in prison are kept there. She is out to change the laws, and we all need to support her all the way on this.
My daughters are all grown, but I still have a vested interest in getting and keeping the scum of the earth child molesters/killers off the streets permanently. Every piece of filth we take off the streets means my nieces and nephews are that much safer. Oprah had Jessica Lunsford's and Shasta Groene's fathers on the show last week. Nothing has made me more angry than the laws and the judges who let child molesters out on bail or who hand out lenient sentences to men who then go out and rape and kill kids. How many times have we had our hearts broken over yet another little girl who's died at the hands of a filthy child molester? There is no greater cause than this one. Oprah has these resources listed on her website. We on this forum are familiar with all of them. Tricia is deeply involved in this cause. Oprah, you're my hero. Thanks WY for posting this! I am happy that Oprah is doing something to help protect our children, our laws surely don't protect them. It is important that we get these sick puppies off the streets and away from our precious children.
