Here is the deal. Professional Audio Laboratories in N.Y. did some work on the 911 tape. This is a very reputable lab. www.proaudiolabs.com Mr. Paul Ginsberd did the actual work. He used a Lab CD player and load distortion headphones plus state of the art forensic digital enhance equipment. He can minimize the noise in real time. What Mr. Ginsberg did not have were two things. The original 911 tape. We had a copy of a copy of a copy. Mr. Ginsberg was very hesitant when I told him what generation copy he would be listening to. He said it would be almost impossible to pull anything new. But he did ![]() Second Mr. Gingsberg did not have the "robot" that spade posted about. Remember the robot? It that takes days and days to slowly lift out sound and contain sound to determine if anything could have been added or deleted at a certain point. I'll post my info from him now then comment at the end of the letter.

I have posted before that Mr. Ginsberg did hear the "help me Jesus" at the end of the tape. Now I have it in writing.
This proves that what Lin Wood said, "It's not Patsy, It's not Burke, "it's not John." at the end of the tape is false. Remember on the Today Show Katie started talking over the typing at the end. Even before the "help me Jesus" had started. Also remember 48 Hours refused to air the tape because there was something at the end of the tape. It's really there. We were not crazy.

What Mr. Ginsberg did not hear unfortunately was Burke or John. He is not surprised. He warned me. This generation of copy is like mud basically. Also he did not pick up any editing attempts. However like I said earlier he did not have the same robot that was used earlier. Plus this was a different tape. By that I mean the same tape that came from the D.A.'s office just not the same tape that Spade used in his lab.
I was hoping to hear Burke and John's voice but I will say I am pleased at what the results were. If Lin Wood and the Today Show lied about something being on the end of the tape that it's very reasonable to assume that it was to cover up something. Now why would they want to cover up a distraught mother saying, "Help me Jesus?" Because. There is more to the "help me Jesus" than they want us to know. I am certain Keenan made Lin Wood go home and change his underpants the day she announced she was releasing the tape. It was shortly after that Lin Wood shut the hell up about the tape. Did he even mention the 911 tape in his lawsuit against Fox? It was a pricey bit of work but to me well worth it. Well worth it. Tricia

I made it a bit easier for Lin Wood to read. You know when you hang around race horses and love them like Lin does the fumes get to you sometimes. heh.

How can we thank you? I know you went to a whole lot of trouble and expense getting this done. And now that we have confirmed from a MERE 3rd generation recording that there is more at the beginning AND ending of the tape than has ever been disclosed publicly, it lays foundation for demand upon the officials in this case to further test the original tape and to publicly disclose ALL of the dialog in it. The RST's claims that no such dialog exists just flew out the window, thanks to you! Way to poke that stick through LW's cage bars, Tricia!!

I never had any doubt. I can hear that Help me, Jesus, with my own ears on the tape, and so could anyone else if they'd really listen instead of living in denial. Now it's official, and Lin Wood is full of it clear up to his ears.
This expert does not come cheap, but Tricia puts her money where her mouth is, unlike the people who choose to do nothing but criticize her and her efforts. She's got it in black and white from a respected expert. Thanks, Tricia. But, like I said, I never doubted it.

"Hon, we need em."
That's all I needed to hear. If I ever had any doubts about my opinion on Patsy - and I didn't - now knowing that John had to have asked her why she was calling 9-1-1 after reading what would happen to their daughter if they did - I stand taller in my convictions for a conviction. Thank you Professional Audio Laboratories - PAL for short indeed! RR Oh yeah - and to that fearless leader of ours again -

Well, Mr. Wood has been caught in one of his many lies.
Patsy is definitely there on the end of the tape, talking after she thought she had hung up. RR, couldn't the "Hon, we need 'em. Police" have been part of Patsy's plea to the 911 operator? |

I want to post this excerpt from the Bonita Papers again because IMO it is the TRUTH.
After re-listening to the recording of the 911 call made by Patsy in the early morning of December 26, detectives thought they could hear a conversation in the background while Patsy was attempting to hang up the phone. On April 21, Detective Melissa Hickman flew to Los Angeles to meet with Mike Epstein and Jim Roeder, engineers at Aerospace Corporation, for purposes of enhancing the recording of the 911 call received at the Boulder Regional Dispatch Center. At her first meeting with the three engineers, Hickman was told that it appeared that the cassette had been recorded in a Dictaphone format which would require a special recorder to recopy. Hickman drove to the nearest Dictaphone company which was located in the San Fernando Valley. A Dictaphone technician examined the tape and told Hickman that the information was not recorded in Dictaphone format. Hickman, feeling the frustration of the proverbial goose chase, returned to her hotel. That evening, Roeder called her at the hotel and asked her to return to Aerospace. Roeder had decided that the tape probably had been recorded on a regular format which could be copied digitally by their computer. A hard drive disk was made of the tape, and this disk was copied to a JAZ drive, a large disk with more memory than a standard floppy disk. On the morning of April 22, Hickman met again with Roeder in his office at Aerospace. The detective and the engineer went to a small lab to work with the disk to try to filter out extraneous noise and enhance the voices in the background. Roeder made several variations using different noise reduction settings, and those recordings were then copied onto the JAZ drive. They returned to Roeder's office where they were able to further enhance the disk. With this latest enhancement, they were able to hear two voices on the tape one of which sounded like a juvenile male, and the second one appeared to be Patsy. The first words seemed to belong to the juvenile, and then Patsy is heard to say, "Help me Jesus, help me Jesus." The voice again appeared to be the "juvenile male saying, "Please, what do I do?'' Hickman and Roeder agreed to meet again in the morning to continue enhancing the tape. When Hickman returned to Aerospace the next morning to meet with Roeder, he said that he had continued listening to the disk after Hickman had left for the evening. He and another engineer had played the original version of the 911 call that had been transferred to the JAZ drive and found that to be the clearest recording. Both engineers had heard three distinct voices on the tape and written down that they thought was being said. The tape was then played for Hickman. After listening to the tape three or four times, Hickman heard John Ramsey say “We’re not speaking to you”. In what sounded like a very angry voice. Patsy then says, “Help me Jesus, help me Jesus,” and finally Burke is clearly heard to say, “Well, what did you find?”; with an emphasis on the word “did.” After Hickman told the engineers her impression of the conversation, Roeder handed her a piece of notepaper containing the conversation heard by himself and his fellow engineer – the conversation as written down was exactly as Hickman herself had just heard. |

This article also needs re-posting:
6/2/1999 Magazine: Lawyer given tape of 911 call by B.J.Plasket Daily Times-Call BOULDER — June is already looking a lot like May for the Ramsey grand jurors. The jury probing the 1996 death of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey did not hold its semi-regular Tuesday session, while most of the news was being made elsewhere. The jury also skipped several Tuesday sessions last month. And, much like the events of May, most of Tuesday's news centered on JonBenet's 12-year-old brother Burke, who was nine when she was slain in the family home. Newsweek, in an edition to be published this week, claims Burke Ramsey 's lawyer was given a copy of the tape of Patsy Ramsey 's 911 call early in the morning of Dec. 26, 1996. Burke Ramsey reportedly testified before the grand jury nearly two weeks ago and, according to the June 7 edition of Newsweek, Burke's Atlanta-based lawyer, Jim Jenkins, was given a copy of the tape. Earlier reports said the tape contradicts statements given by JonBenet's parents, John and Patsy, indicating Burke was in bed during the entire ordeal. An enhanced version of the tape reportedly contains Burke's voice asking questions and the voice of an adult male — presumed to be John Ramsey — telling him to go back to bed. Analysts and prosecutors have said Burke Ramsey 's testimony could be a key to the now 29-month-old investigation. He is not considered a suspect, police and prosecutors have said. The Newsweek report said District Judge Roxanne Bailin ordered District Attorney Alex Hunter to turn over a copy prior to Burke's testimony. The article reportedly says Bailin ordered the tape to be turned over because Colorado law allows grand jury witnesses to see copies of earlier statements. According to the Newsweek article, John and Patsy Ramsey accompanied their son to Boulder for his late May appearance. While the national spotlight remains on the Boulder County Justice Center, things were abnormally quiet there on Tuesday. Hunter's spokeswoman, Suzanne Laurion, said both Hunter and grand jury specialist Michael Kane were working at mid-day. Sources have also said Hunter's office will not seek additional funding for the grand jury until late in the month, if it is needed at all. Assistant District Attorney Bill Wise has traditionally appeared before the county commissioners several weeks before the funding runs out. The county in March funded the probe through the end of June, but sources said he will not return for additional money until the last few days of the month. The commissioners approved the last appropriation without speaking with Wise. Commissioner Ron Stewart recently said he feels the county must continue funding the probe until the grand jury has done its work, saying, "Now is not the time to raise certain questions, but that time may come when the grand jury is done." |
