I have to think French would have secured the scene immediately. The Ramseys would not have had half the day to play the many different scenarios through their minds, maybe even the coroner would have shown up before 8PM that night...we will never really know.

Just wanted to say "hello", Learnin and it's good to see you here. I'm a newbie to FFJ myself.
It's good to have somewhere to go to get away from Anti-K and Shill, isn't it?

Hello to you, white. I just got back from vacation and passed through Boulder on my way to and fro. Yes. It is good to get away from those two. I don't mind hearing another opinion as long as that opinion is reasonable. It makes for good discussion and opens up one to a fine tuning so to speak.

Glad you're here. Have enjoyed your postings at Topix.

I worked for defense contractors for over 30 years -- some of those years were as a contract security auditor and many were on Executive Staff. I cannot imagine any executive I worked for (or myself for that matter) calling 911 if their daughter had been kidnapped. I'm saying just kidnapped -- let alone by a "foreign faction." The call would have been made to Company Security or the FBI - period. And, of course, what sane defense contractor executive is going to tempt fate by letting the kidnappers know he's not going to pay the ransome by loading his house with friends and police? I've never accused any Ramsey of killing JBR, but their actions certainly defy logic!!

Good points. I can't imagine anyone calling 911 after being warned let alone someone who works, as you say, for a defense contractor.....

    @bold

I always wanted to bring this up so thanks.Ita.And maybe(?) that's what they did after she was killed by one of them (accidentally or not)??Could explain the foreign DNA.I wish we knew what's in those phone records. To me it always seemed more likely that they had help in the cover-up than innocent transfer(DNA).And if that happened I BET there will NEVER ever be a match. That person isn't and won't be in any databases, ever.

We always appreciate it when you share your valuable experience with us to help us see things in perspective, Shadow.

Norm Early, a lawyer who frequently spoke on the legal segments of the news programs about the JB murder, said some interesting things along these lines, and he worked for Lockheed Martin security at the time of the murder, in Denver. Mr. Early more than once said he was shocked because NOT ONE PERSON FROM LM OR LE had contacted him that morning or at any time about this "kidnapping", and he could not figure out why. He said for all anyone could have known that morning, terrorists had attacked the company through an executive and his family, and how could they know that others weren't in danger, as well?

They could not have known, unless they did know that it wasn' terrorists, or even a kidnapping.

Now, how could they know that?

No one has mentioned the screw-ups in the BPD or the corruption higher up...It turned out to be the perfect storm for the Ramseys - all the elements came together and when they were allowed to leave the scene of the crime, after having royally screwed up the crime scene themselves, along with Det. Arndt, that put the cherry on the top.

We know there was complicity because of the evidence raid that was carried out by Patsy's sister - how could that have been OK'd by any right-thinking LE official, big town or small???

That raid by Pam Paugh was a classic heymom. Unheard of in the world of crime. Pam wearing a police jacket to top it all off. Sounds like a crazy Hollywood movie! Is it any wonder we are all angry with Law Enforcement for allowing this caper?

A little more "food-for-thought" -- if John Ramsey had called LM security and they called the FBI, or John himself called the FBI, the FBI would have had original juridiction as it would have been deemed a terrorist act against a defense contractor emloyee (Executive). I'm not sure that the Ramseys, their lawyers or the DA's office wanted the FBI in charge. I know for a fact (from reliable sources) that the DA's office ignored FBI suggestions later in the investigation.

And one other point -- after the FBI arrived on the scene, if they believed the note for one second, they would have been obligated to take over the case because it consituted a foreign threat to the family of a defense contractor.

Thanks, Elle. I may not post much (yet) but I read here often.

I think the FBI were "dismissed" by Boulder LE. But I wonder why this was allowed to happen. I would think the FBI had jurisdiction in this case because at that point there was no body. Although the FBI felt sure a body would be found. I believe they even said "you're going to be finding her body" that morning before they left.

As far as Aunt P being escorted to the house in a police cruiser and even being given an official police jacket to wear (is this even legal?) it was supposedly done so as not to "attract attention".
In reality it was more likely so as not to draw attention the fact that police were allowing a relative of suspects in a child's murder to roam unsupervised in an active (as in unsolved) crime scene and remove items (evidence) from the home. Unbelievable. In a home were a child's body was found bludgeoned and strangled and sexually assaulted- EVERYTHING in the home can be considered evidence. Every print, hair and fiber can be considered evidence, even when the suspects are family. ESPECIALLY when the suspects are family. Because when evidence like prints, fibers, hair, etc. actually belong in the home, where they were found and when can mean the difference between saying they are simply expected or found in such suspicious places as leaving no question they were left during the commission of the crime. Example- Patsy's fibers in the home are of course, expected to be in her own home. BUT Patsy's fibers entwined in the garrote that strangled her daughter place her there at the time the garrote was tied. And THAT puts her there when her daughter was strangled.

It most certainly is NOT legal - it's called impersonating an officer. Whoever allowed that to happen (Hunter) pulled department strings and went around normal procedure, because of either corruption or collusion. NO ONE, especially a member of the Ramsey family, should have been allowed back into that house to remove one molecule from it!

But I am preaching to the choir. How the Ramseys got away from the house that night, leaving JonBenet's body under the Christmas tree like a broken doll, and then still succeeded in removing crucial evidence, makes this the crime of the century.

Burn in hell Patsy Ramsey, and John, your day of judgment is coming!

Without a doubt #1 Learnin! John distanced himself from Patsy Ramsey into the bargain.

I too, want to welcome you here as well WW1

THIS is really my home, although as of late I've gone to battle over at Topix. Your posts are intelligent and well informed and I am a big fan of yours.

I am not as learned as yourself and the many great thinkers here at FFJ anymore. I put my books away long ago and have forgotten so many of the details, but my heart will always be waiting for justice in this case despite knowing better via common sense and the country of Boulder's lack of justice system. Welcome again to FFJ.

The posters here are my online FAMILY ( a truly wonderful group of folks) and as one of the "gutter dwellers", welcome to the family!

By the way, I am Capricorn on Topix

We have asked all of those questions above over and over again, DeeDee.

Below confirmation that an FBI AGent was on the scene shortly after JonBenét's body was found at the acandyrose.com site. This is one of the best sites you will ever visit relating to this case.

    madeleine,

Interesting video you posted. However I just couldn't watch the whole thing. I have no idea how long it is since it didn't have that little timer on it. They are so hard to watch anyway. They are cleaver and so rehearsed that the stuff just rolls out of them. Yuck! That was a Christian network so there they were spouting off how God has been so good to them. Oh my aching back!

I posted the following info years ago on the JW forum -- I was told by my FBI "sources" that as soon as they read the note they discounted a "foreign faction" and believed a family member or close friend wrote the note.

I'm sure that is why they made no big effort to "take over" the case. Had the FBI wanted this case, Boulder LE could not have “dismissed†them. At that time, I got pretty reliable info from two in-laws working for the FBI and several friends with the DOJ.
