Mystery of the "hacked" wiki continued

Margoo and Mame were discussing the "hacking" of the wiki in July when Margoo (who evidently forgot that she'd looked at the wiki in May - possibly even updated it) said:-

We go to the wiki and sure enough, there is the above quote. Note that the wiki is subdivided into different scenario - i.e. "Evidence Pineapple Eaten Before Ramseys Came Home", "Evidence Pineapple Eaten After Ramseys Came Home" and "Evidence Pineapple is Unconnected to JBR's Death". This one is listed under the last section:-

Now Margoo is upset about this - says she never said any such thing and the implication is clear - that someone sabotaged Marple's wiki and attributed something to her which isn't true.

On reading the wiki entry, my first thought was that it actually sounded like Marple had written it himself. He and I communicated enough for me to become pretty familiar with his writing style. So I clicked on the link which was given top back the statement up. It is a dead link. However, this is pertinent because one of the issues Marple had with linking to jameson's was her tendency to delete and move threads about - thus rendering the links dead. Nevertheless, with relatively little effort, I found the thread - it had been moved to another part of her forum!

Finally, the proof of the pudding as to whether anyone has been messing about with this page of the wiki is actually in the wiki itself. One of the beauties of a wiki is that all versions of it are saved so you can restore it easily if it is hacked. So I went back to the original - i.e. very first version of that page. Remember that Margoo accused:-

In fact the section Margoo claims has been completely changed is completely UNchanged from the original entry which was made in January 2007!

No-one has altered it and it also seems that Margoo was pretty fairly quoted too.

Does anyone know if CK is OK? I note that Shill is trying to blame Solace & WhiteWitch for the fact that he has once again terrorised CK. However in typical pathological abuser style, he says it's their fault because they "didn't stop her" from posting when he turned up to harass her.

He clearly thinks he has the right to run her off the forums. That he has the right to terrorise and abuse a clearly vulnerable woman and that if she doesn't immediately stop posting at that forum, then it's her fault (or others') if he then steps up his campaign of abuse. Yeah - I'm sure a court would see it that way...

Traits of an Abuser:-

1. You can identify a verbal bully by what he or she says to you or to others. A verbal bully will use name-calling, teasing, insults or hate mail to hurt a victim.

2. Aggressive behavior, a need to dominate peers, no remorse and no responsibility taken for actions.

3. Abusers have a talent for twisting things around so it appears someone else is to blame for whatever goes wrong. If they get mad - it's someone else's fault. If they hit someone, it's their fault.

4. After the violence, the abuser may have feelings of "guilt" -- not normal guilt, in which they feel sorry for having hurt another person, but a kind of guilt that is really just fear of getting caught. "I shouldn't have done that," they may think, "because I may get caught." The abuser can't stand any kind of guilt for long, so they quickly move on to the rationalization stage. Here, the abuser tells himself that the one really at fault is the victim; they also tell that to the victim. For example, the abuser will tell their partner, "You shouldn't have made me mad" or "You should shut-up when I tell you to" or "How do you expect me to act when you are so unreasonable?" A perpetrator may say "They were acted like they wanted it" or " They asked for it." When the abuser blames the victim, they are justifying their own behavior and giving themselves permission to continue behaving that way. When the abuser rationalizes, they completely ignore any personal responsibility they might have for the abuse.

I will say that ignoring works with this perv. He gave up harassing me when he got no response. Like all bullies, it's the reaction which he gets off on.

 

For the record, the answer appears to be "No". No suprises there? It's funny how rather than admit they were wrong, some people just skulk away hurling abuse as they go...

This makes me think of the differences between Mame and Tricia:-

1. When Tricia is wrong, she admits it - without hesitation or fuss. Mame OTOH, appears to go to great lengths to avoid admitting that she was wrong - even when confronted with the proof of it.

2. Tricia is a modest person who never brags about the good deeds she does or about the people she knows. Mame OTOH is constantly name-dropping and hinting that she is privy to inside information.

3. Tricia is the soul of discretion. She is 100% trustworthy and this most of all is what I love about her. She has a huge heart and is always putting others before herself. She doesn't play games on the forums - or even post that much because she has such a busy life. Rather than posting about it - she is out there doing it.

I think Mame isn't fit to lace Tricia's boots.

 

Unfreakinbelievable. Shill terrorizes a disabled woman, but it's her friends' fault for "letting" her post on forums which is her Constitutional right ...as IF they had any control over someone who lives halfway across the nation from them, even if they WANTED to keep her from exercising her First Amendment right to post on the internet.

It's typical bully and abuser logic, just as you said.

So Shill is the arbiter of who can and cannot post on the internet according to his bully whims? And it's other people's fault if he terrorizes posters in order to get a reaction from them with which to masterbate his ego?

It's obvious Shill has no life other than hanging with his IDI groupies on the forums and stalking posters he doesn't like. And what is his claim to fame? Being nasty and mean, especially to those who are vulnerable. What a way to spend your life.

Why does Shill do it? To make himself feel like a BIG MAN.

Why would a REAL man need to do that? Real men don't hang around forums stalking defenseless and incapacitated grandmothers JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN. It is apparent Shill isn't a BIG MAN in real life, in any sense of the word.

So now he can be proud that he has been so hateful and vicious to another human being, he's driven them off the internet. Oh wow. That's a something to crow about. How would he like it if someone acted that way toward HIS mother? Toward someone in HIS family?

Shill can try to blame everyone else, but there's only one person who is responsible for his bullying and abusive posts, and it's him. CK had a right to be on the forums. Shill and his groupies found someone who would react to their abuse, and they closed in for the kill. They weren't going to be happy until they'd driven CK into the ground.

What goes around, comes around; and what you sow, you will also reap. When Shill and his groupies are older and/or debilitated with health problems some day, what they have done will somehow, in some way, come back to them. I hope they remember how they treated a fellow human being because that is how they will be treated by someone else. Maybe only then will they understand the hurt and damage they have caused.

 

Shill also said once that he lives with a roommate. I don't know about the US, but in Germany it is very unusual for a man well past the dormitory age (Shill is in his late forties) to still live with a roommate.
Maybe the rommate is a cellmate?

She is fine; and has pm'd me. She is laying off the Boards basically because of Shill. She is upset about him and thinks he just wants to harm her, but she is laying off the Board.

I am aware what the moron is doing, but I am also aware that he is just that a "moron". I do not give his posts a "second' thought.

Actually, Bonnie is the one who started that and I let her know that she had complete disregard for CK in her post which was simply cruel. She did try to defend it and again said it was our fault for not telling CK to ignore us, which is exactly what we have been doing. When I told Bonnie to prove that we havent' and show me the posts, she left the arena, not surprisingly - sending that idiot Shill back to do the same.

Either way, who cares. Certainly not I. I just hope that CK is feeling better.

Athena and Bonnie, et al certainly are a vicious lot. How easy is it to intimidate a person who is frightened.

Shill is pathetic who spends his free time drinking and probably hanging out with younger people because no one his age would be able to stand him for any amount of time. There is a reason he has a roommate - he can't afford his own place.

What really is shocking is the women, Bonnie, Deb, Athena, AndU and the others who rally behind this coward and Bonnie is as nasty as Shill in her condemnation of CK on an open Board and I called her on it, and have not seen her since, but then again I am not sure who Bonnie is. I am not as astute as some others in picking out posters and their real identity. So she could be Shill for all I know.

When it is all said and done, Shill and Bonnie have succeeded in scaring CK and that is very sad.

CK if you are reading this, please know that Shill is nothing more than the neighborhood bully and probably has been this way since his early teens. He is truly nothing CK and I promise you, I promise you, he will never ever venture near you. Neverrrrrrrrrr, he is a coward and he is brave only behind the scenes. You will never find this man, if you can call him that, in the front lines. Never, he will always try to get someone else to do his bidding and will always try to manipulate the most vulnerable. Please do not let him do that to you.

Shill got a perverted pleasure out of stalking and terrorizing a frightened woman, yet according to his twisted logic and lack of conscience, it was the woman's fault for existing (on the internet) to begin with. His obvious enjoyment of another human being's terror is a very sick and futile attempt to obtain power that is lacking in his own life. What made it worse were the posters who cheered him on from the sidelines; vicariously enjoying watching Shill try to destroy another person.

Instead of Shill (and his groupies) using their lives to try to build others up, as well as doing something that might have lasting benefit after they're gone, they spend their days being vicious and dishonest, sadistically trying to destroy people they don't even know.

FTR - Solace/ROTM's "hate filled posts" have been tit for tat responses to and about Shill for his attacks amd threats against he very vulnerable CK and Athena for the UNPROVOKED hat game which SHE INITIATED and was exposed for!

However, the world can see the character of "Bonnie" as she hints that if ROTM and posters here stop posting the TRUTH about Shill and his buddies then they MIGHT stop harassing CK.

If this is LindaA (and I really think it could be), then she claims to be a teacher and qualified principal. Someone in such a position should be well versed in the basics of protecting vulnerable people.

Bonnie denies that she is one of Shill's harem floor but don't believe it for a minute. Only that small group of women bat for this abusive man. They gave him positive rep points when he posted vile insults, only they begged him to join Sycamore when CL closed down, only they have signed up as his "buddies" at CL, only they defended him when he posted pornography on the forums, only they express indignation when the Mods ban him for his behaviour and ONLY THEY are likely to be bothered to play hat games to back him up when he follows a vulnerable woman around the Internet in order to harass her. Regular posters cannot stand him and I am not just talking about RDI posters because privately, a few of the IDIs cannot stand him either.

(And we know they read there - no matter how much they deny it. I think it's hilarious how they always say "someone sent me a pm/email telling me that such and such was posted at FFJ")

In fact - it's very easy for a wall phone not to be hung up properly. I've had wall phones in the past and they were a nuisance to hang up. I'm sure others will have experienced the same.
