This whole thing is such a crock. That's why the BPD isn't taking it seriously.

Regarding Thomas Grogan ... Grogan was taught by Don Lehew, the same man that identified John Mark Karr as the ransom note writer! Don Lehew was taught by father and son team, Curt and Bart Baggett. Both of them also appeared on CNN & Larry King saying they were 100% convinced John Mark Karr was the ransom note writer. They even bet their professional reputations on it! The Baggett's own an internet school called HSI, and a business called Handwriting University that is a laughing stock among real document examiners and handwriting analysts. In fact, there have been multiple public complaints about their practices and lack of qualifications. Here is one documented below:

    "Handwriting University" Rip-off Report:

In addition, the Baggetts DO NOT not certify you as a questioned document examiner. They send you a "certificate of completion" which is very different from being "certified."

Much of Grogan's qualifications are puffery or not related to document examination, but someone who does not know how to actually vet his CV might think it was impressive.

I also have it on good authority that Grogan isn't the first document examiner Jaqueline Brungardt approached trying to get them to say Chris Wolfe's handwriting matched the ransom note. At least one other expert looked at the handwriting samples and said they didn't match. Apparently, Ms. Brungardt shopped around until she found someone who said they DID match. Unfortunately for her, Thomas Grogan's credentials and methods don't stand up to scrutiny.

Which brings us to how Grogan inserted letters on top of letters randomly through the first page - this is NOT standard examination process. By choosing such a method, we do not know if Grogan turned the pages or letters to make them fit. Whole words and/or exemplars with baseline models are the proper way to make comparisons of handwriting samples.

It's too bad Ms. Brungardt is continuing her vendetta against her former boyfriend, Chris Wolfe. It only contributes another red herring to the Ramsey case and deflects attention from what really happened to JonBenet.

The closer it gets to December the more of this stuff we will be hearing. It happens every year. Wonder who put her up to it?

It was also well established in the beginning of this case when this wingnut first tried to get her then boyfriend Wolf arrested that she's a flake who loves attention and has a vendetta against Chris. Poor guy.

What I don't get is why the Daily Camera would sell this ad space for a personal attack on a private citizen. I guess the all time low of maliciously libeling the White family years ago with nothing more than the word of a documented, mentally ill, pathological liar, Nancy Krebs, wasn't enough shame for this pathetic disgrace of a Boulder tabloid.

I hope Chris gets himself a decent lawyer and sues the hell out of the DC. I've never seen a more irresponsible trash rag anywhere. Guess it fits Boulder, though.

Many Thanks! This coupled with the news reports that Burke is being requested an interview lets me know that JonBenet has not been totally forgotten in Boulder!
