News Tonight It was just announced on Kvue News that the Run/Walk may have raised as much as $10,000. The funds raised today will help with the continued effort to bring Rachel Cooke home.
Run/Walk for Rachel Results Here is the information on the run/walk. 630+ registrations People attending 173 competitive runners 400+ non-competitive run/walkers I think after expenses for t-shirts, bib numbers, etc we will have added more than $10,000 to the Rachel Cooke Reward fund. Everyone I talked to said that the number of registrations was outstanding for a first time race.
WOW! I just checked out the results on the RachelCookeSearch.org site and there was even a competitive runner in the 70+ age group! To see the run results: http://www.rachelcookesearch.org/run_for_rachel_results.html
