Steven Singular is making the rounds on Fox News linking Karr to a pedophile ring, There is a link to a video of Singluar on Fox News where he says Hunter told him to investigate child porn because the cops wouldn't. Singular found this request by Hunter "strange."

There's an interview there as well with Miss Pam Puagh, Patsy's whiney sister. She complains that the press is tormenting poor John Ramsey. She is a complete zero in this interview.

You know Barb...John has always liked to be in control...of everything. This flicker he started has turned into a huge bushfire and it's now way out of his control. This is a really new situation for him, after 10 years of having the media in his pocket, along with Lin Wood. I think he's taken some aspirin and is having a cuppa tea and a good lie down right about now LOL!

I used to think that back in the hayday of the JBR case. As a talking head, he would say whatever seemed the "right thing to say" about the case at the time. In fact, he would say two or three totally different things in one sitting. I think I did a Sludge Report about Singular and his interviews on TV.

 

After all these years they still can't fake a normal reaction.

Funny isn't it, that the news media isn't asking this question on air? WHERE IS JOHN RAMSEY? If that question has been asked, I missed it. Wouldn't/ shouldn't John be on every talk show asking questions about and discussing the perp who possibly killed his little girl? Oh yeah, I forgot, that's how a truely innocent man would act.

Oh my. I listened to Stephen Singular on the radio and thought he sounded a bit more rational than I'd expected. I read his book and thought it was awful. It had no ending! It was a good read all the way through to the end - and then it just fizzled out.

However, I quite enjoyed his radio interview. I think he suspects John Ramsey.

The document confirms that a week since Karr's arrest Aug. 16, Boulder District Attorney Mary Lacy's investigation of Karr is far from being completed. It also says that the case against Karr is in its "very early stages" and was developed using evidence not previously disclosed about the 1996 slaying of JonBenét Ramsey.

Karr, now being held as a fugitive in Los Angeles, is expected in Boulder soon to face murder, kidnapping and sexual-assault charges in the JonBenét case.

On Wednesday the district attorney asked the Boulder court not to unseal the arrest-warrant affidavit, which would reveal underlying evidence used to obtain a probable-cause warrant against Karr, at least for 15 days until Sept. 7.

The Denver Post and several other local and national news organizations had recently filed a motion to release the arrest-warrant affidavit, which is an open record in most criminal cases.

"Our investigation into Mr. Karr is continuing and there remains work to be done. That work includes extensive interviewing," wrote William F. Nagel, assistant district attorney.

"It is crucial that people we interview provide information that is as accurate as possible, unaffected by influences other than their own resources and their best recollections," Nagel wrote.

Meanwhile, a past investigator of the Ramsey case, said evidence that could confirm Karr's involvement in the former beauty queen's homicide includes what was written on the first draft of the ransom note.

The document explains that authorities did not attempt to contact witnesses before Karr was captured out of fear they might warn Karr and cause him to flee Thailand.

The motion also hints that previously published e-mails exchanged in the past four years between Karr and University of Colorado journalism professor Michael Tracey may not include the incriminating e-mails that led to his arrest.

"(The news media) even allege, with no basis for doing so, that a 'substantial portion' of the e-mails between Mr. Karr and Mr. Tracey have been disclosed," the motion said.

Nagel said that despite thousands of articles and books about the slaying, "most of the evidence in the affidavit has not been disclosed, nor has the media developed it independently."

Legal analysts disagreed Wednesday whether Karr's two-day stay in Los Angeles helps or hinders prosecution efforts to build a case against the 41-year-old schoolteacher.

Defense attorneys Larry Pozner and David Lane said the Boulder DA probably wants to keep Karr in Los Angeles as long as possible. A judge in Los Angeles will conduct another hearing if Boulder authorities have not picked Karr up within 10 days.

"The more time they (the prosecution) delay, the more time they have to get their ducks in a row," Lane said. "I'm under the impression they are trying to get their act together."

The delay will also give prosecutors time to write a request to a Boulder judge permitting them to take DNA samples from Karr such as a swab from his inner mouth, blood and possibly hair, Lane said.

Pozner downplayed rumors that Karr will be brought to Colorado today.

"This case has not come together," Pozner said. "The last thing Mary Lacy wants is Karr returned from Los Angeles."

But veteran defense attorney Dan Recht said he suspects Lacy would
like to get Karr to Boulder while he still seems chatty with investigators.
"They want him back quickly before he changes his mind about talking and cooperating," Recht said.

Whenever he arrives, Karr must be taken before a Colorado judge "without unnecessary delay," meaning within hours, Pozner said. Then the district attorney has three days to file charges or ask the judge for a few additional days to file the charges.

Should Lacy file charges against Karr and then drop them, it will put her in a very bad situation if she later files charges against another person, Pozner said.

I think he (Steven Singular) is one of these whacko guys who is obsessed with porn and pretends he's so traumatized by it, but of course his "work" forces him to have to look at it all the time. We had a guy in Austin who was incessantly on the warpath over gay porn--he was always in bookstores and porn theaters, all outraged. In the end he had doubtlessly seen more gay porn than any gay man ever did, which I think on some level, was the whole point.

 

If it has to do with child porn, there would be nowhere else to look except at John or Patsy. It's not like it hasn't been all over the news that parents are the perps of child porn, or the kids are old enough to want to earn some easy dollars.

I think it has to be a person who likes to play with ropes and kids, not kids and cameras.
