Agreed, Ri, and his "confession" is so friggin' flawed a defense attorney would have a field day, complete with heavy salivating at the anticipation of getting prosecution experts on the stand! Putting Karr's ex on the stand as an alibi witness would be the end of the prosecution's case on the altar of probable cause.

While there is no doubt Karr profiles out as a real pedophile with obsessive attachment disorder and delusions, he didn't kill JonBenet Ramsey and belongs in a psychiatric lock down facility which is probably how the Petaluma trial will end.

Yep. Henry Lee was TV reiterating that the DNA was "degraded. Not enough markers."

If I hear one more media airhead talking about the "Shall be the conquerer" b.s., I'm gonna pull my hair out. They act like that is the only line in the ransom letter. There are 2 1/2 pages of clues that they don't even discuss. It doesn't even sound like it was written by a pedophile or a deranged person. Unbelievable.

    You and me both!

Like Barbara said, anyone can go through their writing and find the letters SBTC. It's even in the Ramseys own freakin' book! Why does the media ignore all the other clues and evidence and focus on crap like this?

Sorry, where are my manners? I should have said "welcome to FFJ" before I started my rant.

I only person I will believe about the DNA match is Henry Lee. If it doesn't come from him, I'm not buying it.

Thank God Dr. Lee finally spoke up about the unuseable condition of the DNA! I've been sitting here everyday listening to all those CO advisory attorneys claiming Lacy "must have" good reason for extraditing Karr and that the bottom line in all of it will be the DNA! And these are the guys who were on the advisory panel to Gov. Owens in Oct. 2000 when JR and LW came out and threatened Owens if he continued to pursue the Ramseys!

    Henry Lee, I LOVE YOU!

In this morning's news, per the Thailand police spokesguy, Karr's ticket to fly is set and he will be leaving Thailand Sunday evening if the Thai court grants the extradition. Karr should be in Boulder by Monday evening where he will sit in a Boulder jail cell and questioned further.
Unfortunately, Deja, it looks like this might drag out awhile longer. I read this morning they're going to keep Karr in California for a few days after he gets here. I'll try to find the link.

Cher, THAT'S where Karr belongs-in Petaluma, not Boulder. It is the Petaluma DA who has the outstanding warrant on Karr and therefore the ONLY authority to contact Thai officials and the feds to hold Karr for extradition. As I posted on another thread, Lacy had no jurisdiction in the matter but that didn't seem to bother her as she inserted herself into this on the mere basis of Tracy/Smit/St Augustin/Gray's word and some flakey emails. Her reasoning? To protect the public and keep Karr from continued flight to avoid Petaluma prosecution. From a legal standpoint, that does NOT give her any legal basis for inserting herself into this mess. She should have called the Petaluma DA right away and allowed HIM/HER to proceed with getting Karr back to the US.

If I lived in Boulder, or CO, I would be screaming bloody murder at how much taxpayer money has been wasted by Lacy on this Karr matter and how she went well beyond her scope of authority to spend it. Talk about gross professional incompetence!

But I don't live in Boulder. I am though an American taxpayer and I'm screaming bloody murder at how much federal tax dollars have been wasted on this fiasco to once again indulge Smit's :(:(:(:(in' intruder theory so John Ramsey can "get on" with his new life.

If they couldn't prosecute the Ramseys because the DNA didn't match, how can they prosecute someone else? Too much reasonable doubt, especially when nearly everything else points to Patsy.
I'm just exhausted trying to keep up with this crap.

But on the bottom of a news report I was watching online at the FoxNews.com site, in a video report interviewing the ICE agent, it said "Karr's DNA will be taken AGAIN in Boulder" or something like that.

It made me wonder if they'd gotten the results back in Thailand and they were negative. Could be this is already old news to everyone here. I'm soooooo behind....

You can see that report at this link--click on the NEWS tab:

"University of Colorado Law Professor Paul Campos declared the letter a 'reckless exoneration.' He went on to state, 'Everyone knows that relative immunity from criminal conviction is something money can buy.
Apparently another thing it can buy is an apology for even being suspected of a crime you probably already would have been convicted of committing if you happened to be poor.'"
