911 call to be aired 7/8

Geraldo did a mock trial of the jonbenet case....(i heard it too!!!!)

he did this mock trial on his old show......
the geraldo rivera show.


he had "lawyers" presenting both sides of the case.... for and against the ramseys....

then he had a mock jury on the show too.

this show was way before the monica
lewinski case....before rivera live.

this is where i heard (and saw) the audio
tape of the 911 call.....i heard all of the 911 call.
even the last part where burke was talking.
geraldo explained that part was muffled......

so geraldo typed all the muffled
part.........all the words...typed
at the bottom of the screen of the tv.

(so i know i heard the tape......because
this was NOT just a news flash on some
current events show....this was a whole
hour about the jonbenet case.....where
they played all of the audio tape. )

well, i must say even though geraldo
was the host.....and supposedly the
impartial person holding the court case....
he leaned against the ramseys when he
heard that tape.....knowing that
patsy had said that burke was still asleep.

i remember that i saw this show long before
i became involved in any forums.....but
it was one of the reasons i started reading
up on the case....then finally going online to read more.

i remember thinking at first...there is now way
that this mom and dad could have killed their own
"pageant" daughter....not them...not the parents
who spent all that money and invested all that
time in their daughter....

then when i learned that they said burke was
asleep........and then when i heard with my
own ears what burke said...then what john said.....
(and john was so very hateful and downright abusive
when he spoke to burke.....so degrading...it made me tear up.)
i knew that they had both lied.....lied big time......!!!!!!

this is when i opened up my mind to the possibility that
something else happened besided what they said...that
john or patsy had killed jonbenet.......or at least
someone in that house had killed her.

so I HEARD IT TOO....the enhanced version.

i have researched and tried to find transcripts
of geraldo's old talk show.....and i have never
found them........can someone help me find them???

i am determined to start looking again now.....

also, i emailed geraldo telling him i was looking for that
show......but no answer.

but maybe now that geraldo is so visible on fox,
he might...just might.....want to explore the case again.....
and pull up his old show.......ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!

also, on that show......i saw the pic of JAR at the atm in
atlanta. the person in the pic had a baseball cap pulled
down over their eyes. from that pic you really cannot
tell who is at the atm. they showed a pic of JAR......and
there just was no way to tell if it was him.

so I BELIEVE Twitch and Lurker and anyone else
who has already heard the tape.......because......

I can say this with utter assurance...

The 911 tape has never been played over the airwaves in any format.

I don't know what you all think you heard, and I believe many are convinced they did hear it, but that didn't happen. This has taken on a bizarre life of its own.

The photo of JAR was not part of any discussion that mentioned the 911 call. It was on a tabloid broadcast show which I'm not naming. I have it on tape.

But - if what I hear tomorrow night does not sound identical to the one I heard before, I will say so and admit defeat. Deal?!

The business unit of the defense contractor I used to work for entered into three joint-venture agreements with Aerospace Corp over the past eight years to bid on NASA and Air Force contracts. I worked on all three proposals with Aerospace Corp proposal people. While working on a NASA proposal in Huntsville, AL, I was told by a couple of Aerospace people that there is (was) an enhanced 911 tape. Neither knew if voices other than PR were on the tape.

So I'm pretty confident that the story about Aerospace's involvement with the tape is true. All the rest, including whether it's been played on TV or not, I don't have a clue.

 

Not calling anyone a liar...

Let's just say I have had a professional interest in that tape. I keep an enormous archive and have spent countless hours in editing bays. I get paid to remember shots and details like that.

And think about this -- would Dateline, or any TV show, be interested in an exclusive when the 911 call has already aired elsewhere? No. Woody had to bring something new to the table to get booked. The police tapes weren't enough.

When Katie Couric announces it as an exclusive will you all finally be convinced?

I think this will be the biggest buildup for about 55 secs. of nothing. Patsy shrieking, big deal. I'm sure John hears that all the time. Now if she were singing "Crazy," I'd be interested.

Actually if Lin Wood has the actual enhanced copy from the police files, in digital form, I'd be interested. I'm expecting something more sleight of handy.

Are you suggesting that I deny what I know to be true because Katie Couric says so? Are you suggesting that Katie Couric is still a legitimate journalist? I think not. She is a mouthpiece and entertainer.

Lin Wood just said on The Today Show that there was no conversation to be heard through enhancement because no conversation took place. He said the FBI said so and the Dateline experts said so. Obviously I am one of many people who have been duped by the Boulder Police Department. Damn, they're good.

You can add my name to the list as one who heard it a very long time ago. I joined a JB site at the same time as Thor, and that was in the Spring of 2001 , and I brought the call up through a search engine, but it could have been a fake for all I know. Tried again later but it had been removed.

I cannot say I have heard this before, but I did go home for lunch & watched my tape then. I want to know exactly who gave Woody the tape. He said it was Keenan. I heard him. But, according to Mapek at CN, a "defense attorney" gave him the tape, Keenan did not. Who the hell is lying here? I thought this tape was part of an ongoing murder investigation.

Another thing, I know Woody just has a copy. I have heard Keenan has the original. It the original the enhanced tape? I did not hear a "click" or hanging up from this one they played today. Wasn't the enhanced one the one with "help me jeezus" and John & Burke talking? I'm not impressed.

I'd sure like a clarification on all of this. Of course, this goes completely unchallenged.

CABELL: Mrs. Ramsey -- you found the note. Was it a
handwritten note, three pages?

RAMSEY, P: I didn't -- I couldn't read the whole thing I --

From 911 call:

Boulder Police Dispatcher: It's a ransom note?

Patsy Ramsey: It says SBTC... Victory ....Please.

How many time have you heard Patsy Ramsey say she didn't read the
whole note; just looked at the part where it said her daughter
had been taken? Yet, during her 911 call, she recites the last
line of the note???

What does this mean? Shall we take it she knew the last line from
writing it, but didn't read it after she wrote it? Works for me.

April 3, 2001 - Enquirer Interview:

"They say it wasn't until Burke's 1999 grand jury testimony that
they found out he was awake before police arrived -- but was
pretending to be asleep."

"Yeah, he testified to that. We thought he was asleep but he
wasn't," said John, who had told police their son slept through
the tragedy.

Thought he was asleep?

"Burke was frightened. He had tears in his eyes. He knew
something very, very wrong was going on."

Burke was frightened and had tears in his eyes, but John thought
he was asleep? (Is this turkey for real?)

"But now John has admitted to The ENQUIRER that Burke woke up
before the 911 call was placed at 5:52 a.m. to summon police."

Well now, it looks like Burke was, indeed, present to be heard on
the 911 call. If JR and PR were not aware of this, why would they
admit so much? The admitting was just an attempt at damage
control, but too little too late.

If the Ramseys didn't believe there was an enhanced tape
revealing Burke's voice, do you think they would have volunteered
this information which is in direct contradiction of earlier
claims? We may never get to hear the enhanced tape, but the
Ramseys have inadvertently told us of a 911 tape with Burke's
voice on it is quite possible.

If Burke was awake in his room and told the Grand Jury this, it
really doesn't affect John's and Patsy's story. Only if he were
present in the area of the phone during the call could it make a
difference.

When John and Patsy said that Burke was asleep, they were fully
aware of the contrary. In short, they consciously and knowingly
just plain out lied about this item in the crime scene. Who is so
naive to believe they told the truth about everything else?

I haven't read the whole note, but the last of it is SBTC...
Victory. We thought he was asleep, but he was frightened and had
tears in his eyes. Geesh! With all the practice they have had,
wouldn't you think the Ramseys would be better liars?

 

That's ok Elle, you probably saved yourself a heart attack by missing today's Today show. Tonight will be bad enough.

oh RiverRat - you mentioned somewhere way back there that when you heard this tape (played on the Today Show) - and if it didn't 'sound' like the first one.... did it?? I haven't 'seen' the show (Dateline) yet... so I will be looking for that also!
