Obviously, it was done to minimize anyone thinking Burke may have had something to do with JonBenet's death. I bet the Ramseys made that demand in the script or they would SUE, SUE, SUE the producers of the movie.

It's been such a while since I watched this movie, Cherokee, I don't remember this about Burke being smaller (?). I don't think I could watch it again. There were a few more mistakes relating to Patsy's clothes not being the same.

Lisa Minnelli is hugely popular here. She did a great interview with Parky, in fact, that was one terrific show with Sharon Osbourne and Lionel Ritchie joining Lisa. Hubby and I agreed it was one of the best Parkinson shows we'd seen. Lisa Minnelli is very entertaining and a great story teller. Of course the Brits love it when a celebrity comes on tv and admits to all their faults and Lisa Minnelli did.

Not yet, it's still a little early here. I LMAO when I heard that joke. I don't know about where YOU live, but all week I've been seeing ABC promos about Oprah's "big interview" with Madonna about her newly adopted son. It was pumped on the entertainment news shows this week too.
Tonight's entertainment news will probably lead with "GeeDubya Steps On Lady "O"!" :floor:

On the other hand, here was a man who had solved over 200 homicide cases, while the detectives in Boulder had not even investigated one. He told Michael Tracey, for instance, that had he been the first detective on the scene, he would have brought a dog in, which would have found the body in 30 seconds; he would have separated the Ramseys, asked them to come down to the station to give hair samples and blood samples; he would have taken their clothes and conducted initial interviews. Had they refused, he told Tracey, he would have arrested them. This from the man who believes most strongly in their innocence: an arrest would at least have given them the chance to clear their names.

Need brains! Speaking of which, loathe as I might be to do it, I have to give credit where credit is due. Candy really laid it into John Walsh for his ignorance:

It's just another in a long line of comments like that from Walsh. You'll recall he said JonBenet was found hanging and her father cut her down, outright lies. I called Walsh's office when he made those comments, and they said he doesn't make mistakes, he knows what he's talking about. He's an apologist for those parents and no one should cut him any slack about it just because of who he is, IMO.
