That reminds me of the time jameson called Melissa's boss to try to get her fired. Only thing was...Melissa's boss was her own husband. He told jams to stick it where the sun don't shine!

She's unfirable. The Ramseys "fired" her via their lawyer (remember?) and she refused to acknowledge it. She suggested that Lin Wood had acted alone and impulsively - that he "hadn't taken the time" to find out the truth about why she had been selling fodder for Ramsey stories to the tabloids. Now she says they sorted out their differences and there's no hard feelings.

I wonder what John Ramsey would say to that?

    The gas station?

LOL - that fits so well that I will from now on out refer to the swamp as The Gas Station. A place to refill on the toxic fumes necessary to keep the bus rolling!

Now - she has had enough of my attention.......IS THIS A DREAM? Did I read that there have been men with balls, brains, and a heart found in Boulder?

This must be what the vapors feel like!

Police Chief Defends Actions in JonBenet Ramsey Investigation

    Sep 2, 2006 06:55 PM

DENVER (AP) -- The Boulder police chief has defended his department's investigation of the murder of JonBenet Ramsey in several published reports, saying more than 160 suspects were investigated and $2 million spent. Chief Mark Beckner's defense came in interviews with KCNC-TV, The Daily Camera of Boulder, and the Rocky Mountain News on Friday and in a statement posted on the Boulder police Web site.

Three lawyers who worked with the police on the case also defended the department in the statement. "A few people have accused the department of focusing too narrowly in its investigation of this homicide when that was not the case," Beckner said in the statement. "People who have spoken out that way have relied on the department's inability to discuss case specifics, but I cannot allow the misperceptions to go unanswered any longer."

The Ramsey family has criticized police, saying the department focused on them at the exclusion of evidence that an intruder killed the 6-year-old beauty queen in December 1996. He told the News that notion was "an urban myth."

Beckner, a year after the killing, said the Ramseys remained "under an umbrella of suspicion" in their daughter's death."

Beckner did not immediately return a call to his home seeking comment.

He told KCNC: "For a long time we have remained silent."

His department said nothing about the recent arrest of John Mark Karr at the request of the district attorney's office. Karr was cleared by DNA and remains in custody in Boulder, awaiting extradition to California to face child pornography charges.

The sheriff's office refused Saturday morning to take questions about when Karr would leave for California.

Beckner disputed claims by former prosecutor Lawrence "Trip" DeMuth, who told the News that leads were ignored and that his staff was barred from doing its own investigation.

have done this sort of thing before with great results. I've sure got my fingers crossed. They were instrumental in getting Ward Churchill exposed. I'm hoping Mary Lacy will get painted with the same bloody brush.

Does she HAVE to respond? Or can she ignore it?

I don't think she can ignore it, Jayelles. It was a formal request made by two lawyers, which, I think, would make it an official legal document. She would ignore it at her own peril, I think.

It's about time Beckner grew a set of balls instead of letting these freaks take advantage of his inability to talk about an open case and keep telling their lies.

I think these blokes are quite clever.. ( how nice of me huh...they will be very impressed and sleep much better for sure...lol I digress )

    but heres why

No one has actually been put up for the murder in the courts.. the psuedo trial has been the media circus and the game of deception and misinformation etc played by the RST ..

The legal beagals are playing their adversaries at their own game...also ...a good lawyer never asks a question he doesnt already have a fair idea of what the answers are....

so what we have are :
    QUESTIONS

questions to which the DA must tread very carefully is she does answer, which I think she wont, she's almost damned if she does..andd if she doesnt.. best line...keep mouth shut .

    ANSWERS

well if they go unanswered, then its almost fair game for whomever to summise that mabe they are close to the truth after all..and put forth their own version of what may be the facts associated with all this..and dare Lacy to argue the points

    THE DOUBLE PLAY..

Lacy cant really afford to answer...and she cant afford not to...she will have to pick the damage control choice...but the minute she strays either way...she is fair game to be 'hit' again with...a please explain..

She has no where to go..answer / no answer...she will seem inadequate to the job...a buffoon....or a person with an agenda.. ( who'd da thunk that !! )

or she may actually decide to answer with half truths...if she does this she is cannon fodder for these guys !!

This is a very clever trap......very clever..

Now we know lacy is an absolute goose... so it also serves to flush out the others !!!....or they leave to hang out to dry ..all by herself...and if she senses that...why would she go down alone??

    This is beautiful...simply beautiful !!!

What is also beautiful is that Silverman got the Rocky Mountain News to print his questions AT ALL. Of course, it was printed as an op/ed, not a news story, but who cares? It's there for all to see!

The Rocky Mountain News has been so biased in the past, it's earned the nickname "Ramsey Mountain News." This is a watershed event.
