I have to say that I am VERY impressed with the Santa Rosa newspaper ... The Press Democrat. And it's not JUST Lori A. Carter ... they appear to have a number of excellent reporters.

ACR ... The Press Democrat (URLs above) confirms that the TV prodecers in the limo with Karr were from ABC's "Good Morning America" show.

They also quote Chris Reynolds, a Santa Rosa private investigator who was hired to work on the Karr case who said the computer was inoperable and investigators knew it well before the case was dropped Thursday.

“The computer broke when they (Karr and his wife) were in Alabama,†Reynolds said. “It had never been turned on in the state of California. She told them that, but they still went ahead.â€

Asked whether prosecutors acted ethically in offering Karr a plea bargain when they knew there were potential problems with the evidence, Passalacqua said: “There are offers made on a regular basis on (pending) cases. We felt that we could go forward with that case until yesterday.†(YY: Sounds like bullsmit to moi given the DA's own private investigator's statement.)

Anyway--thanks for the newslinks, guys. Looks to me that "Good Morning America" was looking to manufacture a news story. Wanna bet they were setting up that school to hire this "known pedophile?" In their little limousine? No wonder I've come to despise the mainstream media in this country.

What is John Karr? Very good question: he is like Michael Tracey but expend too long in Alabama.

Kind of a trailer trash version of Tracey.

 

I saw this young woman on TV talking about Karr when he worked in her class when she was in elementary school, I think. She might have been maybe 16 years old now. She didn't say Karr "fondled" the little girls, as far as I remember. She said he had them sit on his lap and brushed their hair and would rub them, if I remember correctly, and I might not. It was one interview I saw during that whole media mess, so the other poster could be right and I'm misremembering, but this is what I recall.

It could have been a student in Alabama. I'm thinking this was the job that Karr was dismissed from as being "too affectionate" with the children...? Remember that early in the news they had the principal interviewed and he said that...? I believe Karr's second ex-wife also said that was why he was dismissed from that job, but she didn't think much of it.

At any rate, I don't believe he did anything that rose to the level of molestation, from what the girl said. She just confirmed that his behavior did rise to the level of inappropriate, IMO. She said he would spend a lot of time being touchy feely, that kind of thing (my words, not hers.)

What Karr said in those tapes and emails is far beyond acceptable, IMO. I don't care why he said it. I also put Tracey in that same category, as he spent 4 years indulging Karr and kept it going. Why didn't Tracey contact LE long before this year? Guess having a potential child molester taking care of children was fine with Tracey as long as he kept another FAKE INTRUDER lined up for his NEXT CROC.

I also noticed that the SONOMA PROSECUTOR has now stated that the 5 child porn images alleged to have been on Karr's inoperable computer was VERY YOUNG CHILDREN in sexual acts. Wonder if jams and any of her former child porn "researchers" might recognize them? More than Bluefire and jams from the RST were trolling those websites, remember, "doing research." Wonder if Karr was one of her group...?

See, I cannot believe that Karr hasn't been on these forums. He was online. He knew about the crocs Tracey produced. He read the books, obviously. He knew the theories. I really wonder if he was on these forums among us and what his hat might have been. Remember, he actually believes Patsy killed JB.

 

oh no - does that mean we won't hear from him until his sex change? He DOES want to get him self together... and I believe he had a LOT to say for himself in Thailand!! at least I heard it on TV!

Unsealed records show Karr sensed impending arrest

SANTA ROSA – Former JonBenet Ramsey murder suspect John Mark Karr sensed that police were closing in on him days before he was arrested in 2001 on suspicion of possessing child pornography, according to newly unsealed law enforcement records.
The records released Friday detailing a 2001 investigation of Karr include transcripts of Karr's e-mails, which portray Karr as a man obsessed with sex, murder and young girls. The documents were sealed in August at the request of the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department.


Karr said in one e-mail to a confidential informant, Sonoma County resident Wendy Hutchens, that he had “an unreal connection†with little girls. But nothing in the documents suggests Karr had any connection to the death of JonBenet Ramsey as he claimed when he was arrested in Thailand.
Several news organizations sued unsuccessfully for release of the records while Karr's case was pending. The records, with some details blacked out, were released after prosecutors dropped five misdemeanor counts of child pornography possession against Karr on Thursday.

1. He was in Thailand
2. He wanted to come home
3. He claimed that he was present for JonBenet's death
4. He gets a free "first Class" flight home
5. He is not treid for that case
6. He's flown to Calif. and not tried for a case there
7. Now he's traveling around in limos
I'd be smiling my butt of.
Maybe Fox News should take up a collection to pay for his flight back to Thailand and let him find his own way back.
