This is a fine time for my computer :computer: to be dinking out on me.

 

Point of fact: When John tries to make it seem as if taping JonBenet was so unimportant in the scheme of things that the family never personally taped the pageants (and that this is therefore why there are no videos of, as Oprah asked about, JonBenet's supposed violin lessons and rock climbing), he is deceptive. In fact, none of the pageants allowed family members to make their own private tapes. A contract with the official pageant videographer requires that he be allowed an exclusive on all video, and since a family which makes their own tapes will not buy the official videographer's tapes, the pageant officials make sure to help their guy by forcing families to buy from him if they want a record of their child's participation.

Also, Pam Paugh reveals her lack of math skills. No, JonBenet would not as she claims have been entering college this year. Due to Patsy's decision to hold JonBenet back a year in starting kindergarten, JonBenet would have been entering her senior year of high school this month. However, that is not nearly as seemingly dramatic a thing for Pam to say, so Pam opts for the false story rather than the true one.

 

Uh...did John Ramseys just say that "PREMEDITATED CRIMES ARE COMMITTED BY PEOPLE WHO DO IT AGAIN AND LET'S GET THOSE PEOPLE OFF THE STREETS"? Or close thereabouts?

This was in relation to Oprah asking John about a national DNA database.

Uh...John...you basically just said that the killer of JonBenet would have done this AGAIN...but that hasn't happened, has it? And since YOU SPECIFIED PREMEDITATED, I think you just implied that JonBenet's murder was NOT premeditated, at least, not to YOUR thinking....

Hey, did y'all catch the part about Patsy carrying a blue dress around for years when she traveled "in case the killer was caught and she went on TV"? HAHAHAHAHAHA Oh, yeah, I'm sure THAT was the reason. Or maybe it was because PATSY WAS ALWAYS READY TO PERFORM AT A MOMENT'S NOTICE! And with JonBenet's murder, she had more air time than even Miss Amercia on DRUGS got!

I thought Oprah slipped a little "BAM!" in there myself, WNut. "Where are the tapes of JonBenet playing soccer or violin or rock climbing?" Good question, O! And as per usual, John Ramsey is as full of it as ever: "Oh, we didn't MAKE tapes of our children like that. OTHERS made the pageant tapes, not us!" But John, WHY DIDN'T OTHER PARENTS WHO DO TAPE SUCH ACTIVITIES GIVE UP TAPES OF JONBENET BEING A NORMAL KID IN THOSE ACTIVITIES? Out of respect for y'all? But Oprah asked if having THOSE tapes played by the media would have given a DIFFERENT perspective of the family and JonBenet's life. GET IT? It would HELP if videos of JonBenet doing THOSE activities surfaced. But they didn't. Wonder why.

But the REAL reveal from Miss Oprah...and whether deliberately or not, I don't know--but she is a very smart woman who HAD to get some of those BORG emails--was when she said to John she was WATCHING him before the show went on air when the videos of JonBenet performing at pageants was played AND HE TURNED AWAY EACH TIME THEY CAME ON. Oh, says John, he just hates to see her PORTRAYED AS A BEAUTY PAGEANT QUEEN AND NOTHING ELSE. hahahaha Yeah, John, kind of makes one wonder about all the times you and Patsy said THOSE IMAGES WERE ALL YOU HAD OF HER LEFT AND THANK GOD FOR THEM. Guess seeing your murdered little girl smiling and having such a good time, as you told Oprah this very show she did in those pageants, just can't rise above WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK OF YOU, huh?

John, in my opinion it becomes more clear every time you speak what a liar you are and how you do know exactly what happened to your child. Almost every single person on these forums all these years has come up with many possible theories and suspects in this murder. We're complete strangers with limited info about the murder, your life, and your family. We have no dog in this fight, but we care enough that a child killer got away with murdering YOUR CHILD that we've spent YEARS learning about this case and searching for suspects. What FOOL could possibly believe that after 12 years YOU ALONE HAVE NO THEORY AND NO SUSPECT?

Yet another opportunity to FIND THE KILLER, MAKE PEOPLE AWARE, TALK ABOUT JONBENET...lost. John Ramsey seems as happy and content to me as any person can be. JonBenet's murder does not haunt him, and he again found an opportunity to say HE HAS MOVED ON.

Oprah said every time a picture of Jon Benet came up, before the interview, John turned away.

That's just plain creepy about Patsy carrying around a blue dress in case it was announced the killer had been caught and she was interviewed.

When they cut to Elizabeth Smart when Pam was talking, it didn't look to me like Elizabeth believed the story.

 

Watching You, it's not like it used to be. Back in the day when we didn't have so much "history" and info, we were at a disadvantage. Now...totally different. Time and knowledge is like having an x-ray machine on Ramsey when he talks now. He's getting old and he can't keep up with the lies all these years. He's relaxed because he knows whatever the truth is that they are covering up, it's a done deal. He's got the script memorized and practiced so he can say it in his sleep.

But time is not on his side anymore. His "story" is now quite dated, repeated too many times. Thanks to his own allies who, believing the lies, have gone forth revealing too much, it turns out, we know the flaws in the repetitious propaganda and can therefore nail it quickly and focus on his clumsy attempts to dodge new curves thrown his way. We know the parts of his story that have been proven not to be true, but he hasn't kept up so looks every bit the liar, no ambiguity left about what is "true" and what is simply NOT.

And some of the story has gotten muddled in his head. And his head has also gotten muddled. And this show actually made me feel that maybe...just maybe...the Ramseys haven't gotten away with as much as they think they have....

 

Oh, thanks for this. Just in case I was misreading or mis-remembering stuff, it helps to see you saw and heard what I did. I found it rather funny that Pam managed to trail along for the Oprah show and get her face time on air, as well. But at least PAM remembered JonBenet and what she lost. John never does.
