    Oh Tracey's In For It

I agree with you Tricia, as a matter of fact, I believe the suits have already started. First with Ablow, then in his interview with Greta, his laways says they are attempting to retrieve some of Karr's possessions from Tracey.

I believe, these possessions are more emails which weren't turned over to the DA, possisbly because of inferrence in them, of Tracey's involvement to it's fullest degree in "GROOMING" (Tracey's word) of Karr during the 4 years. We never got all of Tracey's emails to Karr did we! I'm sure he also wants his Daxis manuscript which he sent to Tracey.

I think we got one side of Karrs involvement in this fiasco from Tracey, the only side Tracey wanted to expose to the media. He is a master manipulator of the media, who may have met his match with Karr. I still believe there's much more to Karr's tapes and writings, all of which was orchestrated by Tracey, and that may now come out. I hope so.

It's like I said from the beginning, Karr NEVER publicly stated the words, "I killed JonBenet." He never confessed to killing her. Karr said, "I was with her when she died." That's passive voice vs. active voice.

Karr can now say he meant he was with her in a spiritual way. That he was putting himself there as a fantasy of being with her when she died. That Tracey lured him in with promises of helping him write a book.

After reading the LKL transcript, it's obvious Karr is positioning himself to sue Tracey, CU and the Boulder DA's office. Tracey used the CU phone to call Karr, and I'm sure he used a CU computer to communicate with him. Tracey also proudly shared e-mails and photos from Karr with his classes at CU. How sweet that Tracey's bragging is going to help bring him down.

Paul Voakes, Dean of the CU College of Journalism, also bragged about Tracey using Karr as "show-and-tell" in Tracey's classes, and Voakes bragged about what a fine person Tracey is. I hope Voakes is named in the lawsuit. He's an enabler of egotistical sociopaths who pose as professors in schools of higher education.

John Ramsey advised Mary Lacy on Karr's arrest. I hope Ramsey is also named in the lawsuit.

Lou Smit advised Tracey on how to spoon-feed Karr and keep him on the hook. I hope Lou Smit is named in the lawsuit.

Shoot. I hope everyone involved in the Ramseys-are-innocent-let's-make-up-an-intruder camp are sued. It's about time the shoe was on the other foot. Maybe THIS time, the Ramseys and their blind followers, henchmen, and hired guns will reap some of what they've sown.

Am I dreaming, or did I hear somewhere that CU was billing the DA's office for the long distance calls Tracey made to Karr on their dime? It seems to me I heard it on the radion on my way to work one morning.

I heard the same thing WY. However, we should probably wait for the MI woman to verify.

You didn't dream it. It was documented in Prendergast's article.

    http://www.westword.com/Issues/2006...ws/feature.html

"Last week, Boulder officials put a price tag on the Karr investigation: $23,656 for Lacy's office, another $11,000 for the Boulder Sheriff's Office. (CU also plans to bill the county for the calls Tracey made to Thailand from his office.)"

That popping noise you all hear is Lin Wood pulling his remaining hair out because he can't get Karr as a client. Talk about someone that is right up Wood's alley! All that money to be made and Woody can't get a piece of the action.

Oh, you read my mind, BluesStrat. I've been thinking this from the time Lacy made her infamous speech that Karr was being released. This is exactly the kind of case LimpWood would kill for.

Just read the memo in support of motion to dismiss in the Ramsey v Fox case. Very interesting. When you read this, you realise just what a frivolous lawsuit it was!

    (how embarassing!)

I'm guessing it's thanks to Candy for uploading.

My husband had never seen Lin Wood before last night but immediately upon seeing him briefly on CNN, hubby said "There's a slime for you." He's a good judge of people.

Dori Ann Hanswirth, who wrote the motion to dismiss, has vast knowledge of details in the Ramsey case. Dori was in-house counsel for Star Magazine and vetted Richard Gooding's BDI article in 1999.

In many respects her defense of Fox News was a labor of love.

I think a lot of the lawsuits Wood filed on behalf of the Ramseys were frivolous, but FOX was the only one who refused to settle, which was what Wood was banking on when he filed the suilt. He knew it was frivolous. He also knew companies would rather settle than be bothered with lawyer/court time and costs.

That is exactly why Peter Canfield, attorney for the Atlanta Constitution calls linwad a shakedown artist. Linwad's MO is to be as obnoxious as possible so his victims will pay just to get rid of him.

Once, when I was trying to explain Lin Wood to my husband, I said "He's like a cowboy" and my husband thought I meant he was a crook because we use the term cowboy to describe crooked people here. However, I was referring to his accent and I'd seen a photo of him in a cowboy hat. He sounds like JR Ewing to me (I know - different state but how many Americans can differentiate between different Brisith accents?)

Too right. There is a debate going over here about a talking gecko, who has a Cockney (probably East End, maybe Merseyside) accent. Some people actually hear him as an Aussie!!! Amazes me.

Lin Wood was born in North Carolina, but I don't know how long he lived there. He has more of that accent than a Georgia accent. Georgians tend to be softer, more slurry.

I watched the Larry King Show last night having figured out to record it on the skybox!

I thought Karr was articulate and sincere and that Larry King did a pretty good job of trying to get him to answer some question (any question) about the arrest. I didn't get any impression that karr was being manipulative and I thought he was consistent in his answers. He seemed to know exactly what he was saying and where to draw the line in speaking.

To me, this just makes the whole thing curiouser and curiouser. I wonder if he has a drink problem with associated personality disorder. What struck me particularly was that it is such a great pity that he has this weirdo side to him because if he didn't, he could be so many things. He's intelligent, articulate, has a bright personable face and he's charming. Such people can be great leaders of men - and yes, young people. I thought about how well the kids I teach would respond to a character like this IF he was teaching them science, english, maths or even games. It's very scary to think that he has a dark side and cannot be trusted - because if I didn't know what I know, I'd probably tend to trust him more readily than I would many others.

I have one colloeague who was charged for possession of child porn and a more unlikely character you wouldn't have met. Friends Reunited was full of praise for him as a teacher and as an individual. He gave everyone the impression that he was dead straight - a really decent bloke. The community was shattered when he was arrested for being part of some big group that got busted. Friends Reunited quickly filled up with stunned posts about how people simply couldn't believe it.

You just never know I guess.
