OK. Hypothetically speaking. Supposing you were part of a couple who were under something ... ok let's make it an umbrella. OK, supposing there are people who have a special interest in umbrellas and they are very interested in your lives as a result of this. Now, supposing one of these people went a step further than anyone else having not only a compulsive need to know more information than anyone else but also to know it BEFORE anyone else (let's say 13 seconds for instance). Let's take for an example when it was reported that been in hospital - this is a person who would actually go to the bother of phoning round hospitals to check that out. Now supposing that person worked at a particular university - wouldn't you be concerned about sending one of your children there? Especially on rainy days?

That one has flown right over my head too, so don't feel alone. All I can come up with is that it must rain alot in Michigan where the university is, but I doubt that's it because boys that age don't carry unbrellas. I'm sure it's something much funnier and I hope I get it someday.
