I could believe without a doubt Patsy Ramsey thought along those lines, that she was untouchable into the bargain because she was protected by her religous rights.

There are repeated themes in The Psalms that show up in the ransom note; instructions, saving, deliverance, victory, death and calling.

A major theme from The Psalms also is a part of the Prime of Miss Jean Brodie; "The gang who oppose me shall not succeed." As well as the themes of confiding and insight.

The connection to mythic literature is common to many murders committed by psychotics. This evidence is clear in the Ramsey case and is an indication that the murder was not the result of an accident.

I can see why you arrive at your verdict, Paradox, but if Patsy Ramsey was hell bent in sacrifiing JonBenét, and feeling right within herself at doing this, why bother with a ransom note if she felt she was on her religious track in her crazed mind? Shouldn't she have been singing "Hallelujah!" until the white van arrived to haul her away?

Having said this, surely John Ramsey himself would have known his wife was not quite herself, if she was prone to having manic attacks? Plus with all that had to be done before they left for Charlevoix early the next morning, don't you think Patsy would have arranged sacrificing her little lamb at a more convenient time?

You can't judge a psychosis by rational parameters. Patsy was not Hell bent on sacrificing JonBenet. She was Hell bent on saving her fantasy. For that she had to control the integral object to the point of taking the object out of the material world and into the imaginative world completely. To do this the living object had to stop living. Patsy turned a living child into an angel so that she had complete freedom to fantisize about her.

John and anyone else around Patsy would not have noticed anything unusuall because Patsy was just being Patsy. She was manic mcuh of the time and described often as being over the top. A person would have to be very observant and educated to see the acceleration in mania.

As far as arranging the time, she didn't, it was arranged by the literature.

There was a split mind at work here. It's my opinion that Patsy held back what was coming as best she could until the deadline was at hand. At that time the latent persona took over.

Sorry Paradox, but I think it is you who are fantasizing here, projecting the scenarios of your vivid imagination into Patsy's mind. :)
