Moab, they're not earmuffs - she is recording! :)

That's what I thought. Earmuffs look like headphones.

Driver....you nut...why didn't you tell us you are a famous singer. :martini:

What type of music do you sing? Rock, Pop, Metal, Punk, Opera????

You've got it all wrong. It's Driver's audience that needs the earmuffs.

(Just kidding, Driver, because I am jealous, and I only have a five-note range.)

    Sorry Tricia,

No, no no to Rita Cosby. Not only does her voice turn me off, but I never saw what made her such a star reporter. I never even heard of her before Scott Peterson's case and I just couldn't listen to that voice. I just don't see any reporting talent; but maybe I'm missing something.

But, the main reason I don't watch her is that I think she is UNinteresting and UNinterestED in her topics and the people she interviews.

I used to be indifferent to her, but after watching her feign interest in the hurricane victims and other victims, I can't watch her at all.

Rita Cosby's voice is peculiar, I agree, but what I can't stand about her is her phoniness. She sometimes pretends for a moment to sympathize with people who've endured horrors and tragedies, but then she brushes them off at the drop of a hat.

As for odd voices, I've been told by lots of people that have one too. Despite the fact that my sister has a similar voice to mine, indicating our voices are just naturally odd, doctors have always wanted to test me for various diseases that might account for it (they always did her too), and I finally agreed a month ago when my new doctor thought I might have thyroid disease, polyps on my vocal chords, or something else amiss. The tests, performed by various specialists, showed nothing wrong.

Want to hear me? :frog: http://www.zshare.net/audio/my-odd-voice-mp3.html
(I don't have a lisp on top of it. That's the mic, I swear.)

You sound okay to me Tril. Nothing like Rita Cosby. :)

Elle, I'm relieved I don't sound like Rita, but if I'd talked longer on the recording, you, like quite a few doctors, might not have thought my voice sounded okay.

I only hear a breathy voice, Tril. And you're not a bad singer, either. Right on key, which is more than a great deal of the population can say. :sing:

:flash: I always thought this little head was a singer (?)
The hills are alive with the sound of music. Can't you hear her? :):flash:
