And the best thing that came out of the *** going to Boulder, you ask???

A sound byte From Greta on the O'Reilly show (hosted by Clark, I think) regarding Mary Lacy:

Mary Lacy either nabbed the killer, or she
    Nabbed A Nut!!!!!

    The question is...which nut?

    Karr...or Tracey?

I'm getting a little scared, actually. Wendy Hutchins is all over the place peddling the creepy tapes, people are crawling out of the woodwork with awful stories of Karrs childhood and Pam P. was on tonight saying Karr could have been at the Christmas party and that he knows things about the case that he shouldn't.....secret things. Could Lacy actually get a conviction without a DNA match? Seems the public will soon start screaming for this guys head on a platter....

Amster, it's just part of the media frenzy. The bottom line is that his family and now neighbour say he was not in Colorado that Christmas, and as other posters have said, the logistics of him getting there are too complicated to even think possible.

I liked what Peter Boyles said on his radio show...that when Karr arrived in Boulder, they should put him in a car at the airport and say to him "OK..now drive to the Ramsey's house"!!

I'm not worried actually. We all know he didn't do it, the DNA is worthless and if his lawyers are worth their salt, they should be able to prove this whole thing is a giant furphy, even if by some incredible twisting, the Boulder DA manages to charge him!

amster, I too am getting a little scared, and for the same reasons you cite.

People have been convicted w/o DNA evidence against them. Besides, all Lacy would have to do is say that the sample wasn't from the killer after all, and that it was a contaminant.

I am fed up with all the "Karr is a creepy guy" testimonials, and finally shut the TV off.

Yeah, and I'm sure Pam has been told Karr knows "secret things" by the very people who are trying to shove this ruse down our throats.

The RST quotes each other until the people think they're hearing the truth, the media calls a private Ramsey investigators "US law enforcement," and major news outlets get their handwriting experts from a Google search on the Internet.

In a rush to be the first with the scoop, and send the ratings to the sky ... no one is checking their sources or the documented evidence. It's more than frustrating, it's criminal.

    Excellent post, mate!!!

I hadn't heard yet about the neighbor saying Karr was in Alabama at Christmas. So now it's not just family trying to "protect him," is it? Ha. Deal with THAT alibi!

I love what Boyles said. Why can't we get THAT sound bite plastered all over the media? :reporter:

You're probably right, Zotto. I need to stop tiptoeing around other sites and turn off the media! The truth is seeping out and this is no time to go wobbly!

    Thanks!

    :)

Yes matey, apparently his next door neighbour has said that Karr helped him to move furniture or something that Christmas and that he was definitely not in Colorado that Christmas.

Of course...this information comes from the dark side, so needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

LOL...I know how you feel Amster. Even in Australia the media reporting has been so inaccurate it's hard not to want to ring up every talk-back radio station and let them have it. If I didn't have to do such mundane things as work I might be able to!!

But take a breath...in the last couple of days we've finally seen some truth being reported. I think the arrest has been the best thing to happen in ages.

This will drag out as long as the current participants can make it.
The DA wants an infamous case closed.
    The Ramseys want vindication.
John Karr wants to be with JonBenet. Perhaps he also wants noteriety.

Since she is dead, the only means he has of being associated with her is by claiming to be her killer (true or not). He can say he was with her when she died. That he loves her and caused her death. He has also gotten a lot of attention as a direct result of this claim.

When the child pornography charges were brought against him, he fled the country. Why now has he decided to openly and unequivicable profess his guilt?

True obsession is all consuming; facts and truth are inconsequential.

Regardless of if he did or did not have any involvement in this case, justice has been done. He is obviously a deeply disturbed man who has no business being around young children or anyone esle for that matter.

    Welcome to FFJ, Hyperthink!

    You made an excellent point.

    >>"When the child pornography charges were brought against him, he fled the country. Why now has he decided to openly and unequivicable profess his guilt?"<<

Why isn't the media asking this same question?!

    Zotto, I absolutely agree.

Bizarre though this whole fiasco is, it has put the case back in the spotlight and under scrutiny. Evidence will have to be revisited and at the very least, hopefully the widespread rumour that John and Patsy were cleared of any involvement will be quashed. At best, who knows? Perhaps the truth, the REAL truth, might come out. We can but hope.
