Now that's interesting. Looks like forum owner Freshwater has run into major trouble. Hardly surprising.

 

There's always the possibility that this is just an INconvenient time for the server or something to go wrong and hopefully it is fixed once the flurry of news over Fleet White's exoneration has died down

Just a thought. There's no mention on the BB either, which surprised me; Jameson hasn't crawled out from under her rock to do the "I always said that the White's weren't involved" mantra. Of course, she too, never did anything to discourage the trashing either, but you won't find that mentioned there.

 

I don't think jams spends a lot of time on her forum anymore. Not if her posts are any indication. She's gone back to work, she has said. Well, hard times for all of us there.

Yeah, I wonder if they took the forum offline to remove the accusations against White and the McReynolds and so many others. I mean, let's face it, all Mary Lacy did is EXONERATE AND CLEAR EVERY SINGLE PERSON SERIOUSLY INVESTIGATED TO DATE. If the DNA clears the Ramseys, it clears ALL who have been tested and don't match.

So that pretty much relegates the RST to discussing...Suspect X! A phantom intruder...whose most clearly identified traits are: he writes and uses language like Patsy Ramsey; he knew the Ramseys and their home intimately and had access to JonBenet before the night she was murdered; he was able to spirit himself into and out of the home unseen, to hang around there for hours while feeding, abusing, and murdering the child undetected; then he cared enough to take the time to clean her up, redress her, and wrap her in a blanket; all without making a sound or fearing discovery; and who has been protected by the Ramseys for 12 years now.

That ought to be a short list.... Who fits that description who hasn't been DNA tested?

Who made the complaints? Complaints about what exactly? How many complaints of what character does it take to warrant shutting down a thread to prohibit the discussion of crucial evidence? To close the thread on alleged complaints is nonsense. In other words, pure RST evasion.

The mods said complaints had been made about Anti_K also. I did not complain or report any of his posts, and there was virtually no other RDI left on the board aside from TWW, who had not taken part in the 'garrote' debate at all and was busy in discussions on other threads, so she certainly did not 'complain' about AK.
None of Anti_K's IDI buddies would complain about one of their own either.

By closing the garrote/ligature thread very shortly after the 'Delmar Discussion' thread, the Sycamore forum runners pulled the emergency brake, so to speak. For they feared another repetition of what happened on the DD thread: that one of their fellow-IDIs would again be backed into a corner with no way out and the evidentiary truth about the staged garrote scene emerge.

Interesting, Rash. I have to wonder about the forum going down when it did, with the press about the Whites being declared NOT SUSPECTS, AGAIN. It could be totally not connected, of course.

As for the billing/accounting dept. message, I have no idea. I first thought it might be due to...not paying the bills? I know the software used at Sycamore looked very pricey, but who knows? Messages often have nothing to do with actual problems but just go up generically. Maybe she canceled her account. Maybe she got tired of the time and energy it takes to run a forum. Maybe she is dealing with the fallout from our economy. Since no one from the website is talking, we can only speculate.

 

Thinking about this, I suspect that the "account" which was "suspended" was Sycamore's account with the Web Host rather than member acounts. Sounds as if FW didn't/couldn't pay her bills. That would also tie in with her apparently going undergound and being uncontactable since this happened.

I can't say I'm surprised it's happened. Sycamore was a good concept but I don't think she was up to the job of running it. She listened to all the wrong people and disregarded good advice from several wise people.

There were several hinky things happening on the forum for a while and I also suspect she was using some kind of spyware because my firewall really didn't like the site.

I always found it kind of ironic that a forum which was dedicated to justice was so blatantly corrupt and mismanaged. Sycamore lost several decent, intelligent members through its shoddy management whilst keeping the rogue/fruitloop factions FW refused to deal with.

We reap what we sow indeed.

 

Well, whatever happened, at least Sycamore didn't turn into a porn site, like the last IDI group's did.

Hey there Punisher!

I may be a Senior, but Wow! That was Catchy, and I'll be playing it a few times over. Thank you! It sure makes you want to get up and move. It took me a long time to get around to liking Country Western music. My neighbour would lecture me and say. "You have to listen to the words, not just the music." How right she was! I had to work hard at it. I now have my favourites.

I have family living in Texas, and I've been there quite a few times. Attending a rodeo was really something. Also went to a few dancing sessions. Seeing everyone on the floor dancing with their cowboy hats and boots was a lot of fun. They were all having such a great time.
