I have always thought Websleuths was the better name. Let's face it, it's how 99%+ of the population would think to spell it and I'm all in favour of keeping things simple

I find it intriguing that "mystic" Fleet-basher Jeff_Johnson has never registered at FFJ or WS. Could it be that this is a multiple hat - not wanting to expose its IP to Tricia? Usually, posters who are (ahem) "Slightly off the wall", sign up on all the forums. Not only odd that J_J only posts at jameson's - but also that she has allowed her forum to be taken over with this poster's cryptic ramblings (maybe just $$$$s of course).

I wonder, has she given up on her latest recruitment drive? Candy clearly regards jameson with utter contempt (as she does everyone) yet every time she steps out of line she gets a light tap on the knuckles. Maybe it's $$$$s yet again. After all, beggars cannot be choosers.

 

This would clash with the other website Tricia owns, Jay "Websleuths.com."

Jameson should change the name of her forum.

 

Sorry Elle, I'm not following you (?#?#???) I was referring to Tricia's other forum when I said I thought it was a better name! I wasn't suggesting that jameson change the name of her forum. jameson has spent years trying to suggest that somehow owning WeBBsleuths was some kind of triumph. Something to do with a person called Webb. However, I have never heard of this person and I would imagine I'm not alone. Who's going to remember to type two Bs? I bet Websleuths gets a load of hits from people looking for jameson's.

It's a bit like people with unusually spelt names. They go through life having to correct and explain. A friend of mine called her little girl Sharronn and the kid's name is never spelt correctly by anyone!

 

I was just thinking Jameson couldn't change it back to "Websleuths" because of the other web site. No big deal.

 

I also am sure he is good at managing sewage.

Dave's analysis of the 911 tape was a classic piece of buffoonery - a rambling riot of technobabble describing how he tweaked this and tweaked that and surprise, surprise - got the desired result. Needless to say, he made it very clear that he would not be discussing his findings with anyone who hadn't done the same experiment. Considering Dave wrote his own little program to do that, he was pretty safe in the knowledge that there would be no contenders!

I have Dave's report and subsequent comments about his ridiculous experiment saved for posterity. His incompetence as an analyst is exceeded only by his arrogance.

He's right in one thing though - Jeff Johnson's search did have errors. He needs to type in "Jeff_Johnson" and not "jeff Johnson".
