Boulder Bound?

  1. I can't believe they're actually taking this clown to Boulder.

He must be excited, its the pilgrimage he's always dreamed of. :beersign:

Whoa...has anyone seen the 8 page document released by Boulder DA today? Jean C. on CTV says it claims that there is brand new evidence....known to nobody in the public that possibly ties Karr to the murder. If not, they never released this info because the "real" killer might flee and they need to investigate, talk, to others and it might taint their memories...this brand new evidence was only developed 2 weeks ago...

Somehow, cynical me, is not buying this.

I'm entirely too burnt out trying to keep up with the Boulder U-turns for over a week to try to figure out what they're doing anymore.

I know I don't trust anything they say or do, and I never will.

I'm sure they're hoping that keeping everyone guessing will result in just this: finally, they can bury John Karr and claim VICTORY!

I think it's good that they moved him to Boulder. The more steps they take, the bigger fools they will be in the end.

I'm sorry, but I just don't believe it's possible to get "brand new evidence" after 10 years. The only new evidence they could hope to get after 10 years is testimonial. And it's probably Karr's. Which means, crap.

The further they climb, the further they will fall. :laffbig:

Well, there's no new evidence from the crime scene, that's for sure, because crime scenes don't just develop new evidence after nearly 10 years..

The only evidence it could be is something involving Karr, himself, and I have to think it is something very flimsy, given the crap they've put out in the past.

    I'm cynical as hell.

Amster, I've seen you and/or others post about "CTV". One of our biggest tv networks in Canada is CTV yet whenever you guys mention a story from CTV, I have yet to see it.

What is this "CTV" you speak of? There is no CTV.com

I think, after careful consideration and the oh so painful enlightenment and realization that this is a disaster, in an effort of damage control (every minute they prolong this costs a LOT of taxpayer money) they have surrendered, will bring him to Boulder and now just get it over with and hope for the best.

The longer they prolong the agony, the more interviews Tricia and others like minded will be on every news show, saying all the things they were always afraid to say out loud, Lin Wood be damned!

They may just throw in the towel, face the music now before the music gets really really loud

    It's their only chance

Resistance is futile he he he :borg:

    ~sigh~

I suppose I should turn off CTV.....but here goes

Jean C. says the scuttlebutt around Boulder is Karr knew something about JBs head. It's being claimed that some autopsy photos were "held back".

OR....if nobody is buying that...it's mentioned that Lin Wood talked about the "enhanced" DNA that was developed in 1999....

AND.....according to Jean.....Boulder is a proud community. They want the defense atty. to be from Boulder or at least, Denver.

I'm thinking that Jean is only talking to RST people...

There is nothing about her head that isn't known.

    DNA is a red herring.

On that note, I think I'll have fish for dinner.

If this wasn't so pathetic it would be funny. And all for what?? Enhance a DA's resume? Appease John Ramsey?? Make money for a whackadoodle prof.?

Notice....justice for JonBenet is totally left out. I'm surprised we don't hear, "Who is JonBenet?" Oh right! She's the little girl who was brutally murdered and all the mean people blamed her saintly parents, JOHN and PATSY. Torks me off! It's never been about JonBenet to these bottom feeders..

Tricia and all of you.....y'all have always had it right.

Hahahaha. I believe TB does have fish tacos.

Guys, this is getting more and more bizarre if that's possible.

I feel like flipping all my switches off and sitting in the dark.

Look, it's been said a million times and finally the RST is right about this one--though now they don't want to be:

If the DNA does not match, can they put John Karr in Boulder? If they don't have a full panel, he can't be matched to a certainty. If they have a full panel and he matches, then maybe they have a shot at convicting him. Finally, it really does seem to hinge on the DNA. How ironic.

If all they have is "information" about the body nobody but LE is supposed to know...they're going to have to prove that Smit didn't have that info and didn't share it with a host of various people, including and most importantly, Michael Tracey, jams and therefore her internet community, and that nobody else ever leaked that info out, as well, like Larry Schiller, various reporters Smit showed his PowerPoint, etc. Remember, we have a copy of a legal document giving Smit permission to show the PowerPoint at will when the grand jury was over. Speaking of which, how can they prove the grand jury members told no one as well, since we all heard Schiller tell the whole world he spoke to several of them and they talked. Obviously, Schiller loves to talk. What info did Wood have? His office staff? How much did Tracey share with his students? Obviously, he was showing lots of evidence to his journalism classes. He showed unedited pictures of JonBenet's body to a reporter we just read about recently. Jams piped up and said she had that. I bet she does. Jams is always bragging about how she "knows" about evidence we don't, has it and shows it to people and it "changes" their minds about who committed the murder. That may come back to bite the DA if Lacy tries Karr.

Then there is Karr's family: is his whole family lying about his whereabouts that Christmas? His ex-wife said he was with the family. His brother said he was with the familly. A neighbor said she saw him coming and going that Christmas with his wife. He has three sons, one of whom might be old enough to remember him being at home that Christmas. There must be other family members who remember him in Atlanta that Christmas.

Can the DA break that alibi? Can she show how he is supposed to have made a trip that long to Colorado and back? She has to put him in Colorado, in the house.

The defense would be: Karr is innocent because a Ramsey did it: Patsy's fibers in the garrote knots, on the duct tape, on the blanket in the basement, her paintbrush, her pad and paper; her inconsistent statments and lies to LE; the unexplained, missing oversized Bloomies which turned up with--the Ramseys, the oversize Bloomies she said she put in JonBenet's drawer, found on JonBenet's body; the blank cell phone record; the PRIOR VAGINAL INJURIES; the pineapple in the small intestines; the bowl and tea glass with only Ramsey fingerprints on them; the Ramseys behavior of hiring separate lawyers within a week, refusing a formal interview with LE for 4 months, then another year before they'd sit down with the BDA, and never, to this day, ever going to the BPD for an interview--behavior is admissable as evidence.

Evidence, which only has to reach A REASONABLE DOUBT to get an acquittal, is this: how many experts cannot exclude Patsy Ramsey as the writer of the note; how many experts have said under oath (Wolf deposition) and will say under oath that Patsy wrote the note or cannot be excluded as the writer of the note; how did an intruder know intimate information in the note about the Ramsey familiy?

The fact that the BDA refused to get warrants for the most basic evidence in the Ramsey case would be an issue: the phone records to this day have not been subpoenaed; the clothes the Ramseys wore were never subpoenaed.

Pam Paugh was allowed to raid the house, with a BPD escort, in a BPD jacket. What did she take out? A police car full of potential evidence. Thomas called it a "scorched earth" disaster for crime scene processing.

Linda Arndt allowed John Ramsey to find the body and move it, then she moved it, then John and Patsy laid all over it, contaminating the crime scene even worse. Five friends of the Ramseys and two victim advocates were all over the house.

People, I know it's Boulder, but if the DA can get a conviction against anyone in this murder, that will be a shocker.

Personally, I hope she tries to do it. Then the files will be unsealed, and one way or another, it will be over. No more hiding anything.

For what it is worth, Karr is having quite a bumpy ride home. The flight tracker shows that his plane encountered some nasty weather and, if I read the statistics correctly, he dropped about 10,000 feet in a minute at one point, then ascended, then descended the same amount, then ascended back to desired flight level. If those fried prawns had not yet left his body, they sure did then.
