    I think there are 65 total precincts in Michigan. In John's race there are 19.

    Tricia,

    I think the discrepancy is that there are 19 precincts in the 105th district, but 65 precincts voting in the whole of Michigan.

    Sorry, we were posting at the same time. I see even on Candy's site she has Elsenheimer ahead by 1% point. I don't know why she's switched from tallied votes to percentages.

    It looks like we're waiting on the last three precincts - 2 of them in Cheboygan, and one in Ellis.

    The website we are looking at seems pretty official, with all the votes showing by district. Anyway...It's now 16 out of 19.

    762 to 594

    168 vote margin.

    I think it would be fair to call it soon in Kevin's favor.

    Does anyone know what district Charlevoix is in?

    Even candy's numbers have Elsenheimer beating John at this point. So yes, let us safely say that the trend is favoring Elsenheimer over Ramsey, despite John's efforts to buy votes and shamelessly leverage Patsy's cancer to his advantage.

    178 votes difference.

    John's website said they expected it to be as close as 50 votes.

    And it just gets better. Even by the results candy is following, John has dropped in percentage. With 72% of the vote in, John only has 22% of the vote, with Elsenheimer at 27% and Ryan in the middle at 24%.

    Why do I have this funny feeling that the last two districts are going to be a cluster? It's right in the pit of my stomach. I hope it's something I ate.

    The official Michigan Secretary of State site has begun posting unofficial results. At this moment, it only has the results for Otsego County, but even there, Elsenheimer thoroughly thrashed Ramsey, to the tune of 944 votes to 561.
