    For Immediate Release
    January 7. 2003

Friday, January 10th, will mark one year since 19-year-old
Rachel Cooke disappeared while jogging near her Georgetown
home. The Cooke family will observe the date by dedicating
a tree in her honor. The ceremony will take place at
Georgetown High School, 2211 N. Austin Ave., at 5:00 p.m.

Family members and friends will write messages to Rachel on
yellow ribbons and hang them on the tree.

If anyone of the forum wants a ribbon tied on for them, please let me know.

Yes, please place a yellow ribbon for me on Rachel's tree...I truly wish that I could attend the ceremony in her honor....my thoughts will be with you and your family on the 10th as you honor your beautiful daughter...

May you be comforted by this positive ceremony and by all of those who still care for Rachel and who seek her recovery....

    Please include me.

Do you need real names? Where can we send donations?

Lurker, I can use your forum name if you like. I'm only putting first names and state (or country) on the ribbons. If you would like to use your real first name, let me know.

No donation is needed, but if you would like to send a donation to Texas EquuSearch in Rachel's name that's okay.
