So does that mean jameson owns that site?

    Summary

In the Internet Archives, there is a website "www.lousmit.com"

    http://web.archive.org/web/20030619134856/http://www.lousmit.com/

The website www.lousmit.com is now a porn site, but previously, it belonged to:-

If you click on the link above to the Internet archive of that page and then use the mouse to point to the e-mail link at the bottom, you will see that the e-mail addy is:-

    jonbenetproject@aol.com

This is the same e-mail address that jameson is using on her www.jameson245.com .

You can read about it Purgatory's archives here:-

    http://forums.delphiforums.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=PurgatoryII&msg=1850.4

I'll bump the thread up for those with basic membership. It bothers me that there may have been people who sent e-mails to that addy thinking they were contacting Lou Smit when in fact, they were e-mailing jameson. It bothers me especially since she has admitted in the past that she only forwards information that *she* considers to be worthwhile (she has admitted this a couple of times, but one that I recall was during some Rose saga where Rose had sent her information thinking jameson was going to forward it to LE and jameson didn't). I just don't think it's jameson's place to vet information about a murder case. If it were me, I would either forward everything - regardless. Or if there was some really far out goofy stuff, I would reply to the sender telling them to contact LE themselves if they wished - there are public e-mail addies for LE.

Jayelles, I didn't make this post: "Quote:

When I click on this thread, a Microsoft Internet Explorer message pops up. It doesn't do that on the other threads. It says

"! This page provides potentially unsafe information to an ActiveX cntrol. Your current security settings prohibit running controls in this manner. As a reslut, this page may not display correctly. OK"

I click ok. Another message pops up that says "An error has occurred in the script on this page." .... "Do you want to continue running scrips on this page?" I click ok. Then I can continue on this one thread.

I was going to quote what Moab posted yesterday before asking if that meant jameson owned the Butts Family website - when I clicked quote, all sorts of numbers and junk came up, so I just replied with the question and not Moab's quote.

At any rate, I'm thinking what Moab posted means jameson indeed OWNS that site which seeks tips and information on that case.

Sorry about that, I quoted my own post and it copied your quote AND my response. I then proceeded to edit out your part of the quote....

What thread is giving you the error message? Is it the link to Purgatory? It works for me but I wasn't sure if it would work for everyone.

I bumped the thread up in case anyone couldn't get to it via the link. It's called "Boulder Weekly".

It's only this thread so far, Jayelles. I clicked "quote" to reply to this and it's coming up all normal. :) Not like how the one from Moab did.

(It sounds like your ActiveX needs to be upgraded to a more current version or you may need to turn off your popup blocker if you have one on. Sometimes that will cause the runtime error and script error you are getting.)

What was interesting to me about attempting to access those links from the webpage is that after you went to the message boards and were presented with 4 choices, all gave the 404 error, but the reference to Jameson was still attached to the one I copied and pasted here. So I would say there is an association with her there for sure. Someone who has more time can go in and trace the owner.

Thanks, Moab. This is a screwed up thread for me so I won't post on it again. I'd trace the owner if I knew how; I have very little doubt she owns it.

    Here I go posting where I said I wouldn't.

And of course there are the two posters shadow - the one that's here and at cs - and the one, god rest her soul, who was at the swamp.

About finding ownership of the site I was asking about, Moab, jameson posted that any information emailed to the listed web address went straight to her, so I suppose that answers my question.
